Ability to import dynamic lighting layer from png

It would be awesome for those of us who draw our own maps to be able to import a png or similar to make a dynamic lighting layer. So we could export a file from our drawing program that was just the walls and roll20 could use that to create the dynamic lighting layer.
As pngs are raster graphics, I don‘t believe that‘s even feasible. You‘d need a vector graphic format, I suppose.
