Hey roll20LFG, We're a group of 4 players looking to continue playing D&D 5e together on Monday mornings around 11 a.m. EST and need a new DM for the group. Our current DM is joining us as a player as we have a couple who are leaving following us finishing our current campaign this Monday because of scheduling conflicts with school and university classes starting. We have some experience together and want to carry that over into a brand new campaign. As players we all have at least a fair amount of previous experience so not a whole not of teaching moments needed, however, we do like to work with our DM to make sure their world and our characters mesh well together for world building and story telling! As a group with some previous experience we hope to be able to use both the Player's Handbook and Xanathar's for character building. We'd also like to have access to Volo's, but are flexible on it along with Theros, Eberron, and Wildemount. To us the more options the better to allow for more creative opportunities, but we want to make sure it meshes with your world! We enjoy combat, but do believe good RP is what makes the combat meaningful in the context of a campaign so are looking for something with a fairly even split between the two. Any tone for a campaign from something on the gritty side to something more lighthearted is not a problem unless it starts reaching the point of just gratuitous gore or crosses fairly straightforward ethical lines. Overall, our goal is to find a DM who will work with us to tell an amazing story for both sides to enjoy over the course of the campaign.
