Hello I am a long time DM, part time player who is seeking a few people to join up as players for a Mutants and Masterminds game themed around the Marvel 616 universe. The timeline places the players just after some big comic book events (detailed below). System: Mutants and Masterminds 3rd Edition (we have a PDF for any players that need it) Theme: Marvel comics universe. Timeline set after the Skrull invasion and dissolution of the 50-state initiative. The avengers have reassembled with Norman Osborns Dark avengers loosing power. The x-men are torn between Scott and Emma's school with Wolverines and there are a scant few hundred mutants left alive. The Inhumans are rebuilding their home in space while the Terragon mists roam the planet waking up new inhumans. You, the players, take the parts of your own custom young heroes joining the newly opened Avengers Academy, a school run by Giant Man, Tigra, Quicksilver and Jocasta. A bit about myself and the one other player already joining the game. We've been gaming together for a good 20 or so years, we are a casual group based more on having fun and telling a good story than trying to "game" (so please no murder hobos). That said we enjoy a nice balance between light hearted and serious and are happy to welcome some new blood into our group. Times: Bi-weekly Monday's starting around 7:00pm pst, end times will vary depending on the needs of the group. You needn't be super familiar with the system as we are happy to walk new players through how to make characters and how to play. This said we are seeking people who seek to make story telling paramount, preferably someone with a bit of experience. You needn't have to much knowledge about the marvel universe as we again can explain things as they come up.
