You lead, I follow   Dungeon Master (GM): There are now only 2 Heads you have encounter and you have acquired and still have the golden Idol but not the ring that lord Tendlore wore and you have one of the golden bells. each head is 6 ft in height.   Chris M.: fuck. lost ring have we tried ring bell at heads?   Xilicien: Didn't those cause fireballs?   Chris M.: o

Shiela dives for cover   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, balen takes off his backpack, retrieves the golden bell then rings it, as something suddenly comes falling out of the cup and hits the floor! it appears to be a small gem!   Balen: Is it red?   Dungeon Master (GM): meanwhile the south door opens!   Chris M.: Spell Expiry?   Dungeon Master (GM): i am going to say yes, it is a red gem   Chris M.: Cast it again   Dungeon Master (GM): to Balen it looks like such a gem could fetch 1,000 gp!   Chris M.: Trapps on door?   Dungeon Master (GM): say yea, i'll use real time for thinking over what to do here so the spell expired   Chris M.: sure I recast same spell   Dungeon Master (GM): Alright, you didn't open the door but the Head's eyes are now opened open, instead! So now that you have the eyes open, what do you do since the door did not open   Chris M.: ring the bell again?   Dungeon Master (GM): you still have the golden statue as well so ok yea you can ring bell again   Chris M.: the bell has something to do w/ the heads?   Balen: hold the gem out to the head see if it has any effect?   Chris M.: Agrre Balen?   Dungeon Master (GM): well ringing the bell caused the head's eyes to open. remember in the previous head room what you had to do to close the eyes.   Chris M.: maybe ringing it again w/ shut them no   Dungeon Master (GM): no effect showing gem to the head   Chris M.: I was just lurking as a player So far have not managed to kill Shiela :)   Buddy D.: back got my internet sorted out   Chris M.: Try to man-handle head   Dungeon Master (GM): does the rest of you wish to have the bell rung again?   Chris M.: twise it arounfd w/ my hands   Dungeon Master (GM): the head? you can't they go right though the head   Balen: sure ring the bell again   Chris M.: wait!   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, with buddy, and devin?   Chris M.: everybody take cover first   Dungeon Master (GM): remember how far back the blast goes?   Balen: 30 squares   Chris M.: give me a stat check to remember? ok   Dungeon Master (GM): yes 30 10 ft squares out the one opened door so where does the party go and where do you ring the bell?   Chris M.: I moved S & C   Balen: i the room with the head   Dungeon Master (GM): ok balen and the rest are 30 squares away? where I put Camlin i will consider safe as some of it will diffuse into the other east going passage ok once again Balen rings the bell in sight of the heads eyes i will assum and once again another red gem falls to the floor!   Chris M.: Criuch behind my shiled   Dungeon Master (GM): however Balen notes the eyes do not close!   Balen: Pick up the gem Do the eyes close? Door Open?   Dungeon Master (GM): door stays shut!   Balen: ring the bell again   Dungeon Master (GM): alright and a 3rd gem now falls to the floor! you picked them both up Balen?   Chris M.: easy money, watch pout!   Dungeon Master (GM): eyes stay open, door stays closed   Balen: Pocket the gems "I have no idea"   Chris M.: dontcha hate puzzles?   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, do you call for the others to come back to the room Balen?   Balen: Yes   Dungeon Master (GM): ok and as they start to come down and Balen awaits them... SPELL For Xilicien the Elven Magic-User Rolls:  15  Needs ≥  10   Dungeon Master (GM): ok after Balen rolls to put out the flames on him and pats out where the gems are, he sees that only one gem has exploded! ok only 8 damage for Xil   Balen: Toss the other gem at the head   Dungeon Master (GM): what does balen do upon realizing two gems are still intact? ok it just goes right through, you possess one more gem the other one you threw just hits the far wall and bounces to the floor...remember I said it was 3 minutes when the first gem went off...say each gem was made a minute after the other   Chris M.: so he had 3 and the 4th went off?   Dungeon Master (GM): 3 and 1 went off, he just tossed one and still has 1 more on him   Chris M.: To Balen. You can't get that other door back open at the room of the first head so you can't get out the way you came in, currently!   Chris M.: dump the gems   Balen: leave the gems here and go to the entrance for this maze   Chris M.: fuck back to Camlin how are food and water supplies?   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, yea i will let you do so up to where i put camlin before is safe after that....you hear another Boom! and feel a breeze a bit later then Boom! again!   Balen: go back to the octagon get the other bell come here ring it   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, looks like you can go back to the head room.
