Elro's master still has an improperly-summoned fire elemental afflicting his soul, but returning the bronze egg to Lady Rowich earns her favor. In addition to promising you the use of her ruby in her private ritual chambers and the assistance of her wizards on staff, she invites you all to a fancy party and gives you appropriate clothing to keep. The next day, Creios, newly reunited with his experimental warp dust, is able to travel to the western forests and retrieve Alinore, while the party researches elementals and collects several countermeasures against them: a magic dagger which glows with brilliant light and a scroll of the spell magic weapon. That evening, you travel to the Rowich estate, summon the elemental from Alinore, defeat it, and with the help of the Rowich wizards, bind it into the fire ruby, which now glows like a bonfire. Alinore's magically-induced sleep is set to last until morning, but come dawn Elro can see his master hale and healthy for the first time in months.
