Hey all, Seen a few things on here lately about campaigns to give younger people the chance to play D&D, and get them into the hobby. I've been running D&D now for 4 years, and am currently a full time DM. My thought is to run a campaign from levels 1-5 to give kids the chance to play. High chance that this would be Lost Mines as it is one of the easiest to tailor to a party. I am thinking to run it weekly, in 2-3 hour sessions to keep everyones attention focused. I have ran games for younger people before, and being 22 myself am not too far off from their age. In addition I work in the arts, particularly with charity's focused on young people and facilitating them to be themselves and express themselves through performance, which is kinda the cornerstone of D&D if you think about it haha. So parents, if you have anyone in your household that you think should get started on this hobby early, then please hit me up, because I would love to see about making this happen. Time/day and rates of pay tbd.
