My name's Drea and I have recently agreed to DM for a group of friends. None of us has any experience playing, so I'm hoping that my experience writing fiction and can-do attitude will make figuring out what the hell we're doing fun rather than an unmitigated disaster. What I'm hoping to do is also join a separate game as a character so I can better learn the pure mechanics of the game and also see how a DM who does know what they're doing runs the show. Ideally, I'd prefer a game that places an important focus on story and character relationships, but other than that, I'm game to try anything. I'd also love to play with other queer people, but that's totally not a requirement. I don't bring much knowledge (or any, really) to the table, but I do have a ton of enthusiasm, I'm quick on my feet, and I have a winning smile. I'm in the eastern time zone, available evenings and weekends. Gimme a chance!
