Spells Unable to Be Added From Compendium on Pathfinder 1E Character Sheet

Recently in a game of Pathfinder, our characters levelled up, and as such, my spellcaster needed to add spells to his list, and I was not able to drag a spell in from the compendium. Feats, Metamagic, and other elements still function perfectly fine, and yet, when I try to add a Spell to his spell list, with the proper spells known allocated or otherwise, it replaces the character sheet tab in the journal with the "Charactermancer", and is unable to add a spell to any list, or any spell. I saw a similar bug on the forums recently, and attempted to duplicate the character to see if that fixed it, but it did not. Of note, a brand new sheet is able to accept elements from the compendium when it's a spell without issue, but I wanted to see if there's any other avenue to pursue other than recreating the entire character from scratch.
