Question on token sizes

I'm trying to incorporate some fancier tokens into my game, ones that resemble models with bases. Their graphic is 2x2 in the grid, but I want them to behave as a 1x1 when it comes to lighting/movement. Is this possible?

A picture or two might help explain more of what you want, but I think you mean you want the token centered on a single square instead of centered on the intersection of a 2x2 square. I can think of two ways to do this. Change the token to Advanced->Is Drawing. Then it ignores the grid for placement, and you can place it to center on a square. The downside is you lose the token bubbles and bars. Edit the token in an image editor like the GIMP so that it is a 560x560 image centered on a 840x840 canvas. The resulting token will occupy a 3x3 square that is then centered on a single square in the middle. The downside is that the transparent "overhand" can interfere with other tokens.

Basically, we've got some models from Heroforge that take up 2x1 on the grid(i made them slightly smaller since original post).  I was hoping to keep the selectable tile/vision to the tile their model base  occupies (a 1x1 tile) only.
I think you can solve this with a api script that uses one token for sight and another to display. Never done it myself, but the script  i think is  Carry Tokens
