King's Age 190.20 - Silt's Reverence - Morrow the 3rd Tenpug was thankful publicly to the party - he provided a finely crafted stiletto to serve as a token of debt rendered when presented to the Veiled Alliance contacts at the crematorium in Raam. The party decided to discuss what they had foreseen in the visions in the mirror, and some of the characters allowed the halfling Zakhara to probe their minds so he could gain a recounting of each person's vision. The visions were disparate and seemed to hold each player's deepest fear as their base. There were similarities and differences, although many pointed to either times in the ancient past, or perhaps times yet to come. Many characters recounted visions of a white tower - either in stunning glory or abject horror - with either conquering or destruction fates. The party set forth for Raam, and were beset upon by what seems to be the last remaining bands of the gith army...this was strange because the gith were large - much larger than normal, more powerful. The party surmised that an enchantment had been bestowed upon the gith to enable them to have a massive gain in strength and heartiness Alexander was able to recover enough spear heads from the dead gith to perhaps forge a helmet for the halfling Zakhara. Also, he has heard legends of other tribes with tales similar to his avenging braid which focused on legends and talents of melding obsidian and metal. He wishes to engage Fist and perhaps find more of this legend. Azzer bonded further with Jibba and has witnessed Jibba maturing into an adolescent tigone - there is still a mystery why the cat has remained with the party as a silent guardian even though his home terrain is in the jungles and high-lands of the halflings Jin was perplexed about her vision. The legends of the halflings were adamant that halflings were the first peoples and that Athas thrived under their rule for an epoch. Could that world be brought back again? Would she, and her companions be willing to pay the terrible blood price to bring Athas back to a state of natural equilibrium? Or is there another way? Zakhara has been building his psionic combat and telepathic abilities and has had a vision of his telepathic harbringers becoming real in the physical world. Also, he is interested in how he became the embodiment of the spirit-of-the-land that was awakened under the temple with the retrieval of the ruby-heart. Chu was retreating further into himself, obviously shaken by the events of the vision. After camp, the party found that Chu had run off in the night, to a destination unknown. He had left behind the purple pommel dagger and the other relics of the party's adventures - perhaps in pursuit of the half-dragon/half-queen that had tormented his visions. Or perhaps he seeks the legends of the lizard-folk that he saw in his vision. Haaku practiced his assassination techniques by becoming invisible and backstabbing many of the gith. He is still not fully trusted by the party and tales of his mirror vision always seem to end with him acquiring the eye for himself. Kli'k is unsure of what to make of the vision. He remains his stoic self and has focused on teaching Azzer to use the thri-kreen racial weapons as he is part of the Kreen's clutch. Kli'k also has witnessed his body slowing and becoming hard after a weird miss with the chatk'cha that he threw at the gith. It should really be nothing, he'll just spring forward now.... Do you wish to partake in this adventure? Take the reins of one of two 7' tall Athas elves (desert runners) One a preserver, focused on returning Athas to a harmonious state and also well-versed in delving into the ancient dungeons of this world., the other a grey-eyed elf assassin who harbors a dark and sinister secret, and has an unconquered lust for power....
