Altered Ego - A paid campaign for seasoned adventurers +18

Dear Adventurer, Have you ever felt like the real world was somehow artificial, or perhaps hollow? Perhaps you learned to seek relief in escape fantasies, simpler worlds with obvious heroes, villains and rewards. Maybe the existential panic followed you into those worlds too, muted, but quietly gnawing in the background. Better not to think about that. If only there was some one way to start all over again… In Altered Ego , you will play a version of yourself, at the age of 21. But in this timeline, the year is 1991, and you live in a share house in the city of Newcastle, Australia. A little bit near the University, a little bit near the shops, a little bit near the beach. Life here is relentlessly mundane, until a traveling circus sets up on the edge of the city. A drunk clown has been seen wandering around town, veering mindlessly out in front of passing cars. A few people have gone missing, although the police don’t seem to care. Someone is stealing all the daisies from the local nurseries, but leaving the cash behind. And annoyingly, someone seems to have eaten the food you most clearly had set aside on your shelf in the fridge. Meanwhile, in the Below, The Fortune Teller gazes into her crystal ball. The vast swathe of humanity in the Above stretches out before her. She knows that a butterfly flapping its wings in the Pacific can cause a Tsunami in the Atlantic, and she thinks she knows just the place... Altered Ego is a game for experienced role players, who are seeking an adventure which is different to the traditional fantasy style. It may contain mature themes. It draws its inspiration from the award winning horror comedy novel “The Pilo Family Circus” by Australian novelist Will Elliot. FAQ: Level Cap: 10 Campaign length: 20-50 sessions approximately. As a DM, my goal is to give players an experience that they feel is challenging, worthwhile, and most importantly, fun! I want to give you an experience that is beyond the normal, I want it to linger in the back of your mind during the working week. Also, it is important to me that every players voice is heard, and that players get a chance to express themselves. I make it my mission to not take accidentally deprive players of their own agency. I try to keep the combat as fresh and flexible as I can, and I am always receptive to player feedback after each session is completed. To register your interest, or if you are curious and have more questions, please feel free to send me a message and I will reply as soon as I can. Kind Regards, Haptic. I'll go out on a limb here and say, 'This guy puts too much into his work.' The campaign is well thought out and from a seasoned, intelligent, 'make that shit fun' kind of DM.  Full disclosure, I know Haptic well. I would happily pay for him to DM.  Enjoy clowning around, Viduus.
I've played several campaigns with haptic, with him as a player and DM. It's always a riot. Haptic is endlessly creative, building incredible worlds and characters with depth that draws you into each new story. He can improv like a champ, so many laughs. Get in on this, you will not be dissapointed.
