D&D LMoP Features & Traits Descriptions

I'm using the D&D 5E Lost Mine of Phandelver module and character sheets that came with it. For some reason Features & Traits descriptions seem to behave differently when I am adding new ones. On the original ones the description is hidden and one can only see it if she clicks on the settings icon. But when I add a new one, the description text is there all the time (see image). I don't know which way it is supposed to work, but it would be nice if they would all behave the same. Am I doing something wrong or..? Thanks in advance.

Assuming I understand the question, clicking on the title expands and collapses the description, clicking on the word balloon that appears when you hover on the title will send the description to chat.
I am having the same problem and I understand what they are saying. When you go through Charactermancer and put in your background stuff it will make it a condensed look. When you add new stuff to your traits it shows a description added as such with "Action Surge"  I am confused as well on how to hide that text that away I can make my "action surge" look like "Second Wind" or "Rustic Hospitality"
Munkeh, at least for me, the trick was just to click on the feature title, for example "Action Surge", as pointed out by keithcurtis. This expands and collapses the description text for that feature.
