What a confusing day. We woke up in this place that turns out to be Thelanas (sp?) a place the Shamen used to tell us about just in time to be almost trampled by a herd of centaurs and chased by three giants to the hedge walls of a city. We learn that the city is Hedgerow and that it is ruled by Princess Dandelion and the Rose Council in the Rose Court. We wander about for a bit until we find some interesting vendors. Gnippity goes to buy cheese. I don't see a bacon vendor anywhere around. We do find Cedric's lost and found run by a weird gnome that seems to have all the magic items and treasure that were taken from us. What's weird is what he wants in return for them. For my shield he asks for one of my skills. I didn't think it was worth it. I was able to trade one of my glow candles for Sedriss' sword and a drop of my blood for the gloves of swimming which I promptly gave to Velios. The vendor treated the dwarves and Tari as almost beasts instead of people. Even more strange is the way that he reacted to Velios, almost like he was terrified of him. We still have not figured out why Sonny is with us, who brought us here, or why. We leave Cedric to find the Rose Palace or somewhere to sleep. An elf woman tells me that we can use a teleporter to get to the palace and points us in the general direction. On the way there we run into revelers who infect us with their drunkenness. I've never been much of a drinker but I was feeling buzzed after that. We finally reach the teleporter and after watching others use it we step in and are transported right to an audience with the Princess. She offers her aid (in a vague way) if we agree to do a service for the court. It took a bit of discussion before we agreed but we didn't see any other way to get back home. She told us we were to go with the Wild Hunt to the Canyon falls and carry the pelts of the animals hunted (some big cats with tentacles). We ride for the canyon and find three night hags with the cats. Our teamwork skills are greatly improving. Sonn's Bless spell was the MVP of the battle, giving us all a needed edge to hit the hags and resist their magic (except for poor Thornduk who was polymorphed into a deer). Tari cast her hunger spell and the rest of us waited to attack whichever monster emerged from the darkness. Sedriss and I are perfecting the slice and dice while Velios seemed particularly effective with his arrows. When the last hag was killed and Thornduk restored, we learned that the Wild Hunt had left us there. As a Wanderer, I should be able to remember the way back. Time to loot the hags and skin the cats (or maybe just stuff them all into the bag of holding and dump the corpses at the feet of the princess).
