Is it possible to hear your own mic feed?

Is it possible to hear my own mic feed through roll20? I’m using audio effects and it would be useful to hear my own voice. Does anybody know if this is possible?

If you use a "dummy player" account  then you could adjust the mic settings so that your GM account broadcasts audio and your dummy account receives audio.  You'd just have to be careful of a feedback loop if the audio input gets back to the mic you're speaking into.  If you're using a headset that should prevent a feedback loop.

You may find you quickly change your mind about this. It's surprising just how distracting it can be to hear your own voice. I'd recommend testing it in one-off session or impromptu gathering before actually playing with it like that, to see if you find it tolerable.

Thanks for the quick replies. Both of you are right. The tiny bit of delay I get through the dummy account is too much. It Was worth a shot though. It would be nice if Roll20 gave you the option to hear your own mic . I’m using logic x to create custom voices for Npc’s and to mix music/sound effects. The only problem is that I can’t hear what I’m actually doing once I’m in Roll20. It will be fine though. Thanks again!
