Hi! I'm new here. I've been running my Shadowrun 5e campaign on Roll20 for a couple of months now (I bet there's a lot of people who started around that time...) but my use has been pretty shallow. Show the players a map, draw some stuff, roll some dice. It works, but I'm sure it could be better, so I want to level up. Or jack in, might be a more appropriate metaphor. I was planning to start using tokens, I've heard there's a pretty good Initiative tracker. And maybe if I could model all my mooks in Roll20, that might make make managing them easier in combat. In fact, I've got a really complex 4-way combat coming up in nearly two weeks, which is the main reason I'm here. (Note: I lean mostly towards theatre-of-the-mind; I'm not going to play stricly by battlegrid, but tokens on a map might still be useful to get an impression of the situation.) But people keep recommending that it gets a lot more convenient if we put all our characters in Roll20. Problem is: we maintain our characters in HeroLab. I've heard that Chummer can export characters to Roll20. HeroLab is pretty great, but as far as I can tell, it can't do that. Not out of the box, at least. So are there good tools that can help with that? I've come across https://www.reddit.com/r/Shadowrun/comments/5pjb6p/looking_for_beta_testers_for_herolab_to_roll20/ which quickly reached a 0.5-rc, but as far as I can tell, never actually released. It doesn't seem to be supported, and it doesn't seem to work with my version of HeroLab. Or does it? Does anyone know more about this project? Are there other tools I could use? Does anyone have any other advice or tools for using Roll20 with SR5?
