A Warp-Storm of unspeakable proportions had sundered the Galaxy in Twine. Cadia, a once-great fortress world that stood as a bastion against the forces of Chaos, has fallen. Half of the Imperium is now cut-off, unable to bear witness to the guiding light of the Astronomicon.&nbsp; The Dark Imperium, as the hopeless and wretched have begun to refer to it, is shrouded in danger. Cut off from a full half of potential reinforcements, as well as orders from Holy Terra, countless systems are in disarray. Foul Xenos, Separatists, and Heretics alike attempt to claw at the Imperium of Man, threatening to shatter the now cut-off servants of the Emperor from within. The loyal and faithful face threats on all sides. The responsibility falls to you, the agents of the inquisition, to bring order to the chaos and darkness that threatens to consume mankind. Your brothers and sisters within the Imperium, the faithful who cling to the Emperor's divine creations, have let loose the call. Willingly or not, you will answer it.&nbsp; Welcome to the grim darkness of the 42nd Millenium, where there is only war. ------------- This Dark Heresy 2e game takes place after the Fall of Cadia. Danger is certain, and your foes shall be ruthless. The wise will be rewarded, and the cunning shall survive. &nbsp;This game shall be a mixture of investigation, role-play, and combat, bringing all of these aspects together to create a memorable and occasionally brutal experience. Once the group is arranged, we will come together to discuss our expectations and our preferences. It is here we will include determining the overall difficulty of the campaign, as well as a few other vital details. This campaign has a few house rules, but nothing that will affect your knowledge of the game. The aim is to have plenty of combat and RP alike, with a mix that varies from session to session and chapter to chapter. Nonetheless, there will undoubtedly BE combat. As in any good TTRPG campaign, I hope to build interpersonal relationships between characters and, of course, make friends among players.&nbsp; ------------- As this is a paid game, I will endeavour to ensure that you have all of the support you need. I will make myself available as much as possible to assist you out of game where possible, and aim to provide an experience tailored to your needs and desires, complete with comprehensive NPCs and Missions.&nbsp; In our Session Zero, we'll get together to ready ourselves for the purging of the Emperor's Foes.
