Access to Module "Spoilers" in Compendium?? (D&D 5E)

I've been playing Descent into Avernus (D&D 5E) and I wanted to give my players access to some of the player backgrounds that come with the module. I shared the compendium but I noticed that in doing so, the players can now search the module for all kinds of monster stats and magic item information. This includes seemingly plot-critical monsters, bosses, and items. Is there anyway to give them access to player options, like races and backgrounds, without giving them access to everything else that comes in the module?  I understand it can be on the players to NOT search for such things but its certainly easier on roll20 than to grab a physical copy and start paging through it.

It's a bit of work, but if you drag the compendium article title to the table top, you can create a handout of the contents, which you can then share with your players while you don't have the compendium enabled.
