Folks, As we discussed at the end of our last session, this is an opportunity for the party to decide the amount of downtime it wants to spend before launching out on their next expedition--whether in response to Edvald's message or otherwise. The group begins in Zolanberg--a relatively small mining town in the eastern mountains of Zilargo. It's two days by airship (which the group has at its disposal) or lightning rail to Sharn, or one day to the somewhat more metropolitan cities of Trolanport, the capital of Zilargo, or Korranberg, a coastal city that houses a legendary gnomish library and university. The tasks that the group wants to accomplish, collectively or individually, may dictate whether and where you all travel and what resources are available to you. Forgotten what downtime activities are available? This guide from D&D Unearthed Arcana is a reasonable approximation of the downtime rules that ultimately got adopted in Xanathar's Guide to Everything. Between XGE and the downtime rules in the DMG, we've been able to fashion our own downtime rules for this Eberron game.
