Fixed card reading API for Curse of Strahd

Hi all, I have heard that there exist an API that can make me (the DM) predetermine which cards my players will draw. Is this right? I would really much like to use such an API for my Tarokka card drawing in Curse of Strahd if it exists. Also, would the deck be shuffled if the players try to shuffle it (with the API)? Eirik

The Dealer script allows you to deal cards to players by name. It does not play them to the table, though.
