Duplicate character appearing in journal

I have a player character appearing twice in my game's journal. Trying to archive the character removes both instances of the character sheet, which makes me reluctant to delete the sheet altogether. I've seen other threads of this get fixed but never via any action I can take. How can I resolve this?

Yeah I have that happen on occasion. Usually it goes away if I either refresh the page or close out of Roll20 and reopen.

Indeed, do NOT delete one occurrence as both journal items link to the same character. Then fix the defaulttoken and all tokens of the character on all maps.
