I'm working on some investigation macros that essentially draw on information placed in bars 1, 2, and 3 of a token to reveal information. Say you find a dead body. Bar1 may say " the victim seems to have been strangled, etc" with each bar providing more information. Using the powercard to reveal this information based on how well the player rolled. This is fairly simple as the target is a visible token the players are already aware of. I want to do something similar with traps and tracks. But if the players don't know about the token (say its transparent or whatever) is there a way to target an area or even the map layer? Or do I need to put a transparent token over the entire token layer and send to back?
