Hi, i'm running a Ravenloft setting soon.

Im looking for 3 , new players or not but will need access to the 2nd edition players handbook, if you have access to" Domains Of Dread", it helps but not necessary. The setting will be four and a half miles tall by six miles wide on the surface, this is to bring a claustrophobic atmosphere. Since this is a Ravenloft setting, the map can be grow. Fun, immersion and mood will be what I hope comes out of this. Hi I could be interested in this.&nbsp; I've been wanting to get back into 2nd ed (alas my local community is all about 5th ed these days), and would also like to check out Ravenloft, as I have a fair few of the supplements, but never got to play it. How long do you anticipate your sessions will go for? Hello and thank you for taking interest. To be honest I want to get a feel for how long the players want to play and how long I can, I'm guessing hour and half maybe two. As a husband and dad of two and the laundry list of responsibilities I understand the horrors of scheduling. You got the right one there where it says second edition, I might have sent the wrong listing which I should double check. I was originally going to adapt this to 5th ( wasnt having much luck finding 2nd edition players) until I found 2nd edition tavern. Overall I'm going to play it by ear, see how thow long the players are interested. This campaign can have an eventual ending but I'm willing to play it for ten years if allowed. If that sounds good, let me know. Its going to be a terrifyingly good time.

That sounds great to me!&nbsp; A couple hour sessions is good for me - I can't do the whole day sessions anymore (as I did years ago as a teenager).&nbsp; Do you want me to post something over on the game's page as well?

Sure, I'm learning how to do this on the net and I'd appreciate that, I really took for forgranted how much time I had then. Btw I'm going to post some info tomorrow because its late and I'm dozing off but as the mists can enter any setting and snag folks, creatures and cities I see no problem with allowing playable races from other second edition settings like dark sun, Dragon lance, etc on top of standard player races and ravenlofts half vistani. I also have a homebrew race called Chimera, not the mythological beast but a human, demi human or humanoid whose bodies have been twisted by a curse or curses, seeing as how heavy curses are in this setting. The only playable race which I would have issues with is war forged if they were in second edition, its the mechanical aspect that messes with the setting. Thanks
