Looking for one roleplayer for Call of Cthulhu: "Shields Against the Darkness": A multigenerational tale of a family's struggle against the Mythos. The saga begins in 1930 in Bennington, Vermont. Five years ago Harry and Ruth took part in a manhunt for the Harris Gang, who kidnapped a local teen girl. The search parties reluctantly gave up following a massive explosion at the nearby reservoir. The kidnapper, victim, and nearly a dozen surveyors were never seen again. Life went on. Ruth and Harry were married and just had their third child. Rumors swirl of the supernatural, but the Shield family refuses to move from their cabin in the woods. Now a reporter has shown up on their doorstep with questions about the cold case of Jane Strong. This family is about to find out that their nightmare has only just begun. After playing Amidst the Ancient Trees , we realized that we had the beginnings of an actual campaign. Then in Lightless Beacon, we became heavily invested in the offspring of Ruth and Harry Shields. Join us as we take this family and their allies through a multigenerational campaign as they stand against the dark forces of the Mythos. This is a slow-burning horror thriller that focuses on storytelling and investigation. We are really looking for a roleplayer who is interested in contributing to the tale and can work well with the existing cast.
