GGtR & Creature Codex - Bestiary Issues

This concerns a D&D 5e game. When dragging and dropping creatures from Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica and the Creature Codex, the NPC sheets won't load. Strangely, tokens from each book behave differently: tokens from GGtR will create unconscious tokens and the sheet never loads; the token bubbles for tokens from Creature Codex are outfitted correctly, but the sheet never loads. In both cases, the NPC sheets are always "processing". I'm using the Shaped sheet; I've never encountered this problem previously.
Update: This problem has now spread to all of the books in my game. Creatures from the Monster Manual and Tome of Beasts will not load unless the compendium listing is dragged into the sheet. Creatures from GGtR are now responding in an identical fashion. Creatures from Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes are responding differently: some creatures will load when the listing is dropped into the sheet from the compendium, while others will not load whatsoever.

I have seen a couple of recent reports like that from the Shaped Sheet. If you are certain you are dragging from the nae and not the handle in all instances, this might be a serious issue. The Shaped Sheet is community created, and the developer has pretty much abandoned it two years ago. The compendium evolves as time goes on, and if the parsers built into the Shaped Sheet no longer can read that data, it will take someone with top notch skills to edit it. It is not a simple sheet.

I don't have much of that content to test, but the MM and PHB monsters seem to be working fine for me - token bars all look good and everything on the NPC sheet is working ok. Are you having the same issues in a fresh game? edit - this is dragging a monster straight from the Compendium onto the canvas, that previously didn't exist in the Journal for that campaign
Keith: That's unfortunate to hear. I had to cancel my game tonight mid-session because the tokens weren't cooperating. Switching back to the OGL sheet won't be too difficult, but it will be difficult to leave the Shaped sheet. I think the OGL sheet is a good idea, anyway; without further support or development, the Shaped sheet has an expiration date. I think I got a taste of that today. Oosh: The same issues are present in all games, old and new. I created copies of all my games and the problems persisted. What's really puzzling is how it affects some tokens but not others. However, I'm not interested in running through each token to determine which tokens work and which don't. Especially not with the sheer volume of tokens spread across the books. I think it's time for me to switch back to the OGL sheet.

Hmm. Can you tell me at last one or two specific monsters to test? I just fired up a Shaped game and pulled a few Ravnica creatures (Hybrid Brute and Hybrid Shocker). It took a few seconds for them to generate, but they did it. Have you tried a different browser, eliminating extensions, etc? I'm posting the troubleshooting steps below that might help isolate the issue: Could you please carefully work through these steps of our guide to  Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome  and  Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable  all  add-ons/extensions. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through  Step 4 .  (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!
Thank you for the troubleshooting steps, Keith. I went through steps 1 - 3 but the problems persisted. I decided to try step 3.5 before moving on to step 4; I asked for help from a player promoted to GM in one of the games I created. He tried dropping a specific token: a Cult Fanatic from Mordenkainen's. He experienced the same problems, with the token missing information and the sheet not loading. That tells me it's not my computer, but the games themselves. I'm beginning to agree with your initial assessment: the parsers aren't reading data correctly.  I greatly appreciate your insight and your help. I was able to switch all but one of my games to the OGL sheet (the remaining game will take some time, as it's a level 20+ game). Fortunately, myself and all of my players have significant experience with the OGL sheet, so the adjustment won't be difficult. In fact, my players are already happy with the ability to keep the OGL sheet open on the tabletop without experiencing dreadful lag. That, and the guided levelling through the Charactermancer (the 20+ game won't benefit from the Charactermancer, I assume). I'm happy knowing that the OGL sheet has lots of support; and, the sheer volume of scripts compatible with the OGL sheet. I'm excited to try all of them out! Thank you!
