Looking for: - Sessions must start 8pm EDT or later. A start time of 8:30-9pm would be the ideal. - Can play any night besides Tuesday (Already in a game that night) - 5e campaign set in the Forgotten Realms - Prefer a max party size of 6, 4-5 would be ideal (I feel like it gets tricky to role-play and run combat with a ton of players) - Prefer weekly game, but every other week would be okay (I'm hungry to play!) - Looking for either voice or video. If video then I'll stop being lazy and buy a mounted webcam for my desktop. - Hoping for a longer running consistent group About me: - 31, M - Grew up consuming fantasy novels. I've read a ton of novels set in the Realms such as: War of the Spider Queen, Elminster series, Most of the Drizzt series including the prequels and the Sellswords, the Cadderly series, The Haunted Lands, etc - Played a ton of Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II, Icewind Dale, and some Planescape Torment in my day. - Played a bit of 2e back in high school and a bit of 3.5e scattered over the years. - Currently part of a 4 person party playing a bimonthly Tuesday night game of 5e. This is my first experience with 5e, but I do my homework so I'm quickly getting up to speed after our first session last week. This is my first taste of Roll20 DnD and honestly I love it, that's why I'm seeking out another game. My character in this game is a chaotic good Divine Soul sorcerer with the Charlatan background. Before being caught and run out of town, she used minor illusion at night to convince nobles their houses were haunted and then billed herself as an, "Apparition Excision" specialist using Thaumaturgy to sell it. A good portion of the money she made like this went to helping local orphans and those in need. - I can fill whatever role the party needs and am confident I can make an interesting character regardless of the class etc. - I enjoy being creative while role-playing social situations as well as while in combat. Subtle spell with stuff like suggestion and launching alchemical fire flasks with the spell Catapult are some of the ideas I've been toying around with for my low level sorcerer in my other game. - I have little experience playing at high level in pencil and paper DnD (most of the games I've played didn't last long enough due to real life events getting in the way)
