Future Games Scheduling

I'm a fan of the famous West Marches open world campaign and it does seem much easier to run than the more typical closed-quest type campaign. I love the idea of lots of different players and PCs in the same world playing different adventures on different days, but also interacting. So as I've had to reduce GMing my tougher games while work is busy I think I can run more FA sessions, not necessarily every week and not necessarily for the same players or PCs each time. I'm ok with players making new 1st level PCs, especially once their current PCs reach higher level - I don't want more than a 3 level spread within a group (unless maybe PCs got to very high level). Looking at some popular times: Wednesday 7pm as current, suits Tim & Kenny Friday ca 5.30pm - would suit Keelia Saturday ca 5.30pm - might suit Geoff, not bad for Keelia Sunday 6pm fortnightly as current, suits Tim & Kenny; several other players can't do Sundays. I can't do Mondays or Tuesdays due to work & my 'Mini Six' RPG session on Monday evenings. I can't commit to Thursdays but could maybe do some pick-up games ca 5.30pm or later. Let me know any preferences thanks!

Any weekday after 5 for now no earlier (this Friday might be an exception because i am moving house) and anytime on the weekend not fussed.

Fridays I DM for my son so that's out for me. I can do pretty much any other evening except Monday, up to a couple of nights a week. Happy to fit in with anyone else. 

For me, I cannot do Mondays, Tuesday, Fridays, Saturday daytime (should be free after 6pm on Saturdays) (Good to meet you here @James)

Wednesday 7pm as current, suits me too.  Friday ca 5.30pm - Is good for me. Saturday ca 5.30pm - also suits me Sunday 6pm fortnightly as current, I have a game on Sunday’s 1900-2200. Could make an hour to do catch ups and stuff if needed.

I think for this week I'll offer to run games Wednesday 7pm (Erasmus Syrus & co), Friday 5pm (for some of the new PCs), and probably Saturday & Sunday evenings too. :)

Wednesdays are fine, and I can usually do one day at the weekend but not both. 

Thanks guys - the way Faerun Adventures is set up, there's never any obligation to turn up; just get more XP if you do turn up (& survive). :) Also it should normally be possible for the player & PC group to decide what they're doing that session. For the rare case where you're playing a lot of sessions & your main PC is doing X but you join a session with a group set on Y it might be worth having a backup level 1 PC prepped, but I don't think this will come up much - except maybe for Chris. :D

TBC - To Be Confirmed. I'm expecting you & Rich for Wednesday's game (if that's ok with you) :) - everyone is welcome to play in any/every session :) - but Keelia can't do later evening sessions (she's in the Gulf also, and has an early work start) so having a Friday session lets her play.  Re Wednesday game, I just need to do some wrap up stuff in the orc caves before introducing new PCs like Strohm. OK current plan is: Friday 5pm Qiviel & Rip Tear (& others?) - prob go looking for the missing Chaney Manor girl taken north. Saturday 6pm Norrin Jack Syrus Erasmus Ulric Strohm (& Jyrdani & Victoria!) in the corrupted Everflame Crypt. If I'm doing another big 6 PC game Saturday will prob want to take break on Sunday, it's a lot harder than 4 players. :)

With regards to weekend games - as Tim and I can both do Saturdays, and other players prefer Sat than Sun - can I suggest that we move the fortnightly Sunday game to combine with Saturday instead? ...Does this work better for everyone??

Yeah given availability I thought I'd do weekly Saturday evenings, and probably no Sundays for now. Could resume fortnightly Sundays later in order to accommodate more & smaller PC groups - I think about 4 PCs in a group is ideal. I like a couple NPCs in there too. :) Currently it looks like one PC group weekly Wed + Sat and one PC group weekly Friday, but I'm flexible. :)

Oh, no Saturday game this week! Forgot I had my 2nd live game since lockdown started... So just Wednesday (Everflame Crypt) & Friday (Qiviel & Rip) Tear) this week.

Due to a couple circumstances I decided to cancel planned live game this Saturday, so I should be able to run on Roll20 Saturday as usual. Will confirm a bit later.

Thinking: Friday: Qiviel & co, post long rest Saturday: jump back in time to Everflame finale (Jack Erasmus Syrus Strohm & Victoria).

I'm sorry everyone, I'm worse than I thought and I think I'd better cancel all games until I'm feeling better, which may be a few weeks. I do remain very keen on running this campaign which I've been enjoying a lot. :)

Sorry to hear that, Simon. Don't worry about us, just make sure you're concentrating on you. No doubt we'll still be here as soon as you're ready to continue - that Shrine isn't going anywhere!  Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Thanks guys! I've been doing better and am looking at resuming GMing, but I think should probably just run FA on Saturdays to begin with. I'm pencilling in this Saturday 5pm for resumption (5pm so that earlybirds overseas can get some play in - but no problem joining later or leaving early), and should be able to do final confirm around Wednesday.

Good to hear you are doing better!  As we said earlier there is no rush - health most important!
