[LFM] [5E] [FREE] AUSTRALIAN ONLINE GAME, EXPERIENCED GROUP LOOKING FOR 1 REPLACEMENT PLAYER.

Hi all, We are an experienced DND group that have played every week for the last year. We are looking for 1 replacement player. Schedule: Every Monday Night from 8PM to 12PM (9PM to 1AM) for daylight saving states. Group: We are a group of guys between 30 and 50. Most of us have kids so we were looking for a weekly game we could play when the kiddies were asleep. DM: We have an amazing DM that does a lot of prep work throughout the week and also plays a character in our party. He is the one that makes sure all of our games run smoothly. Storyline: We have just finished Thunderspire and then set out through the Underdark and have just started a new campaign by coming out of the underdark directly into the dungeon of the mad mage. Players: All LVL 7.     -Naz (Wild Mage, Half-Orc)     -Prank (Rogue, Drow)     -Flect (Fighter, Spring Eladrin)     -Buck (Monk, Kobold)     -Yithari (Paladin, Tiefling) We are ideally looking for a cleric type to fill out our healing capabilities through the dungeon of the mad mage. Our main issue is that you get along with the group. We are a fun group of guys, many of us play in multiple games together throughout the week and we like to feel comfortable with our companions. NO RULES LAWYERS. DM's word is law. We don't like slowing down the story to spend an hour looking through 8 rulebooks. If you're interested let me know.
Hello, my name is Sam and I am interested in joining your group. I live in South Korea, so not on the same time zone as you lot, but KST is close enough that I don’t think it would be an issue to fit your Monday night games. I am free after 5pm KST Monday nights. Which Australian time zone are you all in? I played 3.5 for a few years in high school and had a brief campaign in 5e that never really got off the ground and am just now searching for a new group after a few years away from DnD while in the military. I am 26, so younger than your age group, but I wouldn’t mind playing with an older group if your players are okay with it as well. I suppose if you already range from 30-50 then the age gap shouldn’t be too much of a problem. There could even be an interesting story hook there with the grizzled veteran adventuring party bringing a comparatively inexperienced cleric into the fold. I haven’t played a cleric in 5e, but I did for a while in 3.5, so I’m sure I could get used to the class fairly quickly. I have a few character concepts in mind, but I would be interested in reading a summary of your group’s adventures so far and character backgrounds so that I can make something that fits with the feel of your group/campaigns. Seeing that your group has a lot of “special” race/class combos, I think a sort of everyman type of character might offer an interesting contrast. Please don’t hesitate to ask if there is anything else that you would like to know.
Hi Sam, I sent you a direct message. Please respond. :)
