[LFG] Experienced DM/GM looking for the right group

I've been running TTRPGs for 30 years and COVID is making me crazy.  I've run dozens of systems and settings but never tried going online.  I write my own campaigns tailored to your characters and I'm looking for a great group of players who want character-driven stories:  players who get invested in their characters, who want to create backstories for them, and see those characters develop over time.  Role-playing level can be moderate or heavy.  Setting or system can be anything.  Players can be experienced or brand-new.  Click here to see some examples of my work.

I have intrest, Timing is my biggest problem. What days, times? how long of a session do you tend to run?

Id also be interested and potentially have a friend that can join but like Andrew said: What timezone, day, time? 

Time zone is Eastern and weekend late morning or early afternoon.  I work with folks from many time zones so I can be a little flexible there    Session length can be tailored.  I usually find that 4 hours is a good length but, like I said, i haven’t run a game online before so maybe they go faster?

Also interested. Somewhat experienced player, love getting really into character and making in-depth back stories. Those times also work for me! I think 3-4 hours is usually the best time for an online game. 

I have been looking for another campaign, and I would be interested as well. I'm in Europe, so late morning or early afternoon would be evening for me, which works perfectly. 4 hour session sounds about right too. I have some character concepts I've been looking forward to playing, and one in particular has quite the backstory. For me, the storytelling is the most important part of the game, above exploration and combat. I would also like to roleplay more than I do in my current campaigns.

What systems/settings are you interested in playing?

Hello! I'm a member of a group of six players who are looking for an experienced DM to run our next story! We're a group of friends who have been playing together online for two or three years now, so you don't have to worry about our group splitting up or bailing out. We've played mostly with D&D 5E and Pathfinder 1.0, but we're interested in dipping our toes into other systems - right now, there's some interest in World of Darkness/Vampire: The Masquerade.

Hello Chris. I see you have gotten a lot of responses so far and it looks like you have the makings of a full game already, but I don't know if you are interested in running more than one campaign. I also have a group of friends that is looking to start a game again. We have been playing on and of since 3rd edition and would like to start a long term campaign again. We have played a number of different systems over the years, but our main systems have been D&D 3/3.5, Pathfinder v1, World of Darkness (all the variants), Starwars D20 and Fallout. With all of the new material released in 5e, as well as help from UA it is also becoming a great system. All of this being said I believe the DM should chose what system he prefers as it is a lot easier for the players to pick up a new system that for the DM. Would it be ok to bring established characters from other campaigns? I have a character that has went through two DMs and started at level 1 and now is 8 I think.

I'm a relatively inexperienced player, having only played a couple of homebrew games made by a friend of mine but I would like to play more. I'm all for roleplay and have had an interest in writing most of my life so creating a character I can get invested in is definitely something I can get behind.

I'd be interested in joining a game if you do run one. I have a lot of (new/unused) character concepts and it'd be interesting to work with someone with so much experience. I've only been playing TTRPGs for about 3--4 years. Edited to add: I only have experience with 5e and Shadowrun, but I can learn other systems.

I have a group of 5 players looking for a long-term 5e DM weekly on Saturday or Sunday. We have previously played in a world with lots of magic, including weapons, armor, potions, scrolls and misc. items. We like a mix of both role playing &amp; combat. We're not big on difficult/impossible puzzles. We also like long games if possible (more like 6 hours instead of the usual 4).&nbsp; We are open to either homebrew or RAR.&nbsp; We have been playing on roll20 with chat &amp; voice on Discord.&nbsp; We are a fun group who laugh a lot, hoping to develop powerful characters who affect the world.&nbsp; Sandbox worlds where you can choose between different missions &amp; our choices/actions have consequences are awesome.

Wow! I'm already super excited from your description of how you run your campaigns! This is exactly the kind of thing me and my friend have been searching for. A world and story tailored to fit the characters backstories and that weaves them all together is our dream campaign! I cant emphasize enough how much we've always wanted to play a campaign like this. I feel like the one kid jumping up and down screaming "PICK ME, PICK ME!!! lol. We would absolutely love to join. This may be long shot. But would you be willing to GM a dnd 3.5 or PF 1e game? Or even longer shot A BESM or OVA game based of anime I like? If any of these work I think I can round up players for you.
