Hi guys. I have created a D&D game and would like to participate as a player. Can I permanently adjust the view of the player? For me the game always starts in the DM view, even though someone else was appointed by me as DM...
You certainly can. If you right click the ' rejoin as player ' button and save the link as a bookmark you will be able to use that to log into the game as a player straight away.
I recall there are differences between a GM rejoining as player, and an actual player account. So it might be better to use the dummy account approach. Maybe use a different browser, so you dont need to logout then back in each time.
I'm not sure if there are differences, or how important they would be. I host four games for our game group, since we rotate GM duties. I have a Join as Player browser bookmark for each game. I pretty much am just a player in those. The only difference I can think of is that I am still the only one who can adjust the campaign settings page. But honestly, either approach will work, and use which you like.
