Adeon: Dawn of Heroes Looking for Players System: Home  Brew (Dnd-esk) Duration : Long term Platforms : Discord & Twitch PST Time Zone : All time zones are welcome, M-F (Discord) and weekends (Stream) Ages : 18+++ #   of   players : 12 -15++ Type of players Looking for serious players that would be interested in playing a " Low-to-Mild Fantasy" Home Brew open sandbox blood and swords style of game. Players should be ok with a slightly more realistic, slower paced game almost like a “Sim” that is Oriental inspired and magic is outlawed punishable by death so learning it is EXTREMELY rare. The sessions will be a combination of discord chat (in between sessions play) and live sessions that are going to be streamed so cams are highly preferable but not necessary. Play solo or group up, be Good / Evil or anything in between as long as you are willing to deal with the fame or consequences of your actions and understand that your action, be it good or evil may and will have an effect on if other players will want to group with you. Insight into the game The game takes place in the wilds, which are any unclaimed areas that have yet to be claimed by a king or ruler. The game world is still very young and naïve, with the majority of inhabitants that reside in the wilds not even leaving their own towns/villages; very often if at all as travel is dangerous and that sort of thing is left to the adventurers and the hunters guild. Time goes on, and depending on the player count, the game world will move on with or without you, it just depends on everyone's involvement with the game. Players are not heroes at the start of the game, they are just at the adventuring age and barely more than just another person picking up a sword for the first time. Realism factors The game is primarily melee & ranged combat. Items have durability and can break. Wounds/loss of hp does not heal instantly, it can take days or even weeks. Skills & Stats take time to learn and both can be upgraded. Want to settle down in one area?! Great! Set roots and see if any land is available and build your home (work with me in between sessions and have your own home map zone!) Don't enjoy playing with a certain character or can't find a reason your character would group with that one? Then don't, hire an NPC to help you or find others to group with. A little about me I have an open door policy, if you have questions or an idea, I accept constructive feedback and suggestions just please do so when not in a game session.  I tend to favor the old school style of playing, no balance and a bit of a grind. I have no limits to what you can or cannot do in the game space however If it is uncomfortable for you or you have limits to what you are comfortable with, please let me know and we can skip over it (all intimate scenes will be skipped, but scored lol)
