Greetings to anyone who reads this. I am an amateur D&D player (i.e. less than 50 hours logged in-game) looking to join a group for a long-term campaign. My previous experience with D&D has been primarily in 3.5e, playing both official and Homebrew campaigns. I have played as both a low-level and high-level character, though I would prefer starting on the lower side (1-5) and developing more as the campaign progresses. At the moment I do not have a pre-created character, so I would be flexible in creating a character that fits well within the campaign's world and/or party. Ideally I would like to play in a setting that encourages a good balance between RPing/puzzle solving and combat, with proper high fantasy elements. As far as my availability goes, my timezone is GMT and I am free most of the time. I am in University and thus have some classes in the morning, so evening games (past 5 p.m. GMT) would be ideal. I have a headset with a good mic and Discord for voicechat and a laptop with built-in webcam for video as well. I am not interested in paid games. Ideally I would like to join a game that is about to begin, as I haven't played in a while and am eager to start as soon as possible. I don't have much experience with the Roll20 system but I have toyed around with the interface a bit and found it quite intuitive, so I am confident that it will take me no time at all to get used to it. Thank you for your time, and hopefully I will see you in-game!
