Monster Manual Bug

Monster Entries If you look up a Monster/Beast/NPC entry in your Compendium and then drag and drop it to the tabletop, so long as you are using a Character Sheet that has this enabled, a Character Journal will be automatically created and have stats filled using the content from the Compendium entry to fill out the various attributes and abilities. Some monster do not create a Character Journal Sheet, when I drag them from  compendium.

Can you give some examples of monsters which aren't working, which game you're playing and which sheet you're using? Also, does this happen in a new game with no modules or addons?

Can you give an example of a monster that does not do this? What does happen when you drag them from the Compendium? Also, are you dragging from the name or the handle?

I was playing Tomb of AnNihilation, but I also have the mosnter manual.  The Reef  shark, Arakroca, Aboleth, Acolyte, some examples. I drag them from compendium. I'm using the 5EOGL sheet. s.

Hmm. They are getting numbers from somewhere, though, since their bars are filled. What happens when you alt-double-click on one of them? Does any kind of a character journal appear? Also, if you have Tomb of Annihilation installed, the journal list should be much, much longer. Have you checked if the monsters already exist in the module and are just in a collapsed folder?

If I Alt-double click I can see the monster stats, there some monster in ToA there, but not all, and the same monsters work wel together. My problem is: I need to use the journal stats, to make my "druid wild shape" token. And I cant use like this. I know I can do it with copy paste, but when I buy it, they say I just need to drag them... And YES, the list is bigger. Sorry, Idk how to check the folder.

I'm having trouble understanding the issue. If you can see the monster stats, the journal exists somewhere in your journal tab. Dragging in from the Compendium will only place a copy of the creature on the VTT. It will not create a new journal entry if one already exists. Do you have a monster, that if dragged from the Compendium does not result in a token on the VTT that is linked to a journal?

I cant find in my journal tab, I search for them, theres no copy of the monster. When I drag the monster, the token is normal, if I  ALt-double click, the monster stats appear. But there is not in the journal. Do you need some prints?

I create a new game, when I drag them, they pop up in my journal..

Make sure when searching in your journal, that you expand any folders. If the journal appears when you alt-double-click, it's in the game somewhere. And yes, search for a monster and then post a screen shot of the journal tab. We'll get there.
