I'm a lifetime fan and observer, but have never had any friends or family willing to play. I played in a very short term, online text based D&D game several years ago; nobody could commit to a schedule, so it didn't last for long. I love listening to actual play podcasts (daily) - my favorites are everything on The Glass Cannon Network, but I also enjoy The Adventure Zone and Dungeons and Daddies. There's a game store in my area where I sometimes go to browse and covet various tabletop gaming materials; occasionally there will be a live D&D game going on and I'll hang out and watch for a bit. I currently live in a semi-rural area and even though the game store hosts events and displays group listings, everyone who plays there is playing D&D. Despite never having played anything, I love to peruse the books and own the .PDF versions for most of the Pathfinder (1st edition) and Starfinder libraries, as well as the base books for D&D 5E and Delta Green. I just want to get started and will play whatever class your campaign needs and thinks I can handle. I would love to play in a regular weekly or bi-weekly game. I'm not really interested in home brew at the moment; I think I should stick to core rules while I'm learning. I prefer a group that wants to have fun; this is supposed to be a game. I'm very easy going and eager to make my tabletop dreams a reality.
