With Drystan and all but one of the gang dead, the party find themselves standing before the burning farmhouseas the roof caves in with a shower of sparks. The party set to searching the lifeless bodies of the gang and loot them from what they have before tossing the corpses into the fire to hide their nefarious end. For their deeds, the Adventurers walk way with a fair amount of coin, jewellery, and a ring of keys. Naivara and Catsi then search storehouse and find two crates of stolen valuables worth 1000gp each crate. While Bardryn searvhes for signs of the cult that they had recently come across; however, she is unable to see any sign of the symbol. During this time, Jett remembers the last guy that left the house and still lies on the ground coughing from smoke inhalation. He moves over to the remaining member and sees that it is Phill, the first guy they spoke to when they first attended the Farm earlier that day. Jett ties him to a tree, and has a stern conversation with him. Phill tells Jett of Drystan's operations - loan shark, spy network, and stealing. He also tells Jett that they have acquired five homes throughout the Empire that were owned by Drystan.  Catsi continues to search the second storey of the storehouse where she finds five maps of towns in the Empire, a list of names, a keyring of three keys, and four bottles of an unknown potion. Catsi takes them back to party and asks if anyone can identify the potion. Tados rolls crit 20 investigation and inspects the bottle. As he is doing so he opens bottle, takes a smell of the potion, and hands it back to Catsi. As Catsi takes the bottle, Tados falls to the ground unconscious. Jett asks Phill of the potion and is told of potion making people unconscious. Jett makes an agreement with Phill that he will let him live if Phill works for Jett; Phill agrees. Jett gives Phill a piece paper of bard's name in Ealinor, telling him to see the bard. As Phill leaves, Jett returns to the party and tells them of what occurred. Having tossed the bodies into the fire, and anything else they could find that would identify thier presence at the house, the party loads the crates of valuables - and a sleeping Tados - onto a cart and pulls it back to town where they stow it at the rear of the Inn, covering the crates with straw. Each adventurer takes some of the valuables with them into the Inn, in case someone finds the cart and crates. Before their sleeps, Jett sends a message to his contact in Ealinor telling her of Phill's coming, Tados regains consciousness but remains asleep, while Casti and Naivara sleep the night away. As Bardryn falls asleep she begins to dream: She begins to relive in her dreams her demise at the hands of Gareth those many months ago in Dol Todúhr, the tall, strong human standing above her, glowering down at her. In the dream the comparison between her and Gareth is immense, he is like a giant to her, towering at high as a mountain. His eyes are red, his face bearing a harsh grimace of anger and violence. Then his large long sword and battleaxe coming at her with a force she could not deflect. As the weapons come down her, she crosses her hands before her in defence, ready for that final blow that would end her. But then she is transported, and she is now standing in darkness alone. It is not cold where she is, nor is it hot; but then, as she thinks about it there does not seem to be any temperature at all. Suddenly, stars begin to appear before her. First one, then two, then in procession a multitude one after the other, popping into existence around her. Then an orange glow emanated from in front of her and before her eyes a bright orange sun was setting amidst an indigo and purple velvet sky, shining its last rays on scattered clouds that burned an orange-red in its fading light. A sight she was very familiar with, a sight that filled with happiness, yet also great sadness. As she stood there looking at the sight, she heard two voices familiar to her; one her own and one that almost made her heart stop: “Do you like it?” Asked a male voice, softly. “It’s beautiful.” She heard her voice reply, but also at the same time, mouthed it herself in her dream. Again, the scene suddenly changed, and she wastransported to a day she never wanted to remember. There Torefolin lay, his dark brown eyes looking up at her. Then his voice again, though his mouth did not move in the dream. “It’s okay… I will be waiting beyond the horizon…”  For one last time she was transported. This scene was new to her; unknown. Tall white-peaked mountains surrounded her, and a snow-filled wind roared about her as she stood ankle-deep in snow, whipping her hair about her face. As she stood there, being covered in snow, her eyes stinging, a silhouette appeared before her about 50ft ahead, covered with what seemed to be thick fur, with long hair that was also whipped by the wind. She could not make any specificdetails about the person as they stood facing each other, but she heard a raspy voice that sounded feminine: “Child of the mountain, come find me; I will aid you.” Bardyn wakes quickly, eyes wide, drenched in sweat;her breath shakey. Her mind roils with the fading images of the dreams, the towering Sorcerer, the memory of Torefolin, and the appearance of the figure in the snow.  The net morning the party meet in the common room for their morning meal, save for Catsi who still sleeps. While the others are eating, Jett slips out into the rain of the day where he meets with a small patrol of guards and tells them he found some stolen property. The guards point him to the Guild Hall and the Guild Master. After speaking with the Guild Master, Jett returns to the crates with a list of stolen or lost property and manages to identify fifteen items in the crates that match the property. Making a note of the owners he returns to the Guild Master and hands back the list, before heading off to return the items. He is rewarded with a total of fifty-eight gold pieces for his efforts. On returning to his friends back at the Inn and telling them of what he had done, they group were discussing Jetts actions when two soldiers enter the Inn and walk to the counter where they speak with Lilith. Throughout the conversation the party see the soldiers and Lilith look at them as they talk. Due to his keen senses, Jett is able to hear the lowered voices talking about whether Lilith had noticed if the Adventurers had left the Inn overnight. Lilith replied that she had not noticed. The soldier finally leave, giving the group a long look as they pass. Bardyn, not knowing the topic of the conversation and cranky due to the dream, takes offence to this and follows the soldiers out where she stands in their way with her hands raised, challenging them to the reason why they were looking at the Adventurers. Tados races after her trying to stop her from getting into trouble. The soldiers tell them that they are investigating some occurrences that have happened in the town recently, especially the burning of the Cornog Farm. The soldiers then ask if they knew anything about it to which the two attempt to lie saying that they did not know anything. Low scoring deception rolls though, did not earn the two any favours and they were subsequently taken to the guardhouse for questioning. Seeing Bardryn and Tados taken off by the guards, Jett quicky speaks with Naivara and Catsi and the three devise a strategy to hide the crates out of town incase they are later searched. At the Guardhouse, Tados and Bardryn are separated and questioned individually by the Captain of the Guard. During the course of the questioning, they find out that they have been secretively watched by the guards who saw them attend the Gornog Farm and have a discussion with Drystan. "It seems coincidental that your group come to town, visit the farm, and then that very same farm burns down later that night killing Drystan and his friends." The Captain retorts to each of them in turn. They are both shocked to also discover that the Captain knows about Jett returning the valuables. "Again, this is all very coincidental, don't you think?" He finishes with. The episode ended with Tados and Bardryn being held at the Guardhouse for further questioning, Jett hiding across the road from the Guardhouse waiting to see what happens with his friends, Naivara returning to her room to meditate, and Catsi returning to her room to clean herself from the mud and rain.
