Create Playable Tokens In Game

I would like to be able to draw out a token on the VTT, then link it to a Character or Item or NPC like I would be able to with a premade token. If I could copy and save to my Art Library that would take care of it, or if the new token I drew in the VTT would have all the options a premade token had, that would solve it as well. I know I can find art or make art with another tool and import it in, but my DM style relies on improvisation and immersion, and the ability to draw and use the tokens spontaneously would be huge. As it stands I can do this, but I cannot link a Sheet to it. Please? I know it will be bad art but it will be fun times!

Can you clarify what you mean with this? Do you mean that you'd want to be able to drag-n-drop an token/image from outside Roll20 to the map directly, skipping the step to go to the Art Library first and upload the token from there? Because that's already possible(gif): Drag new Art from outside Roll20 directly to the map (click the gif to make it start) I know I can find art or make art with another tool and import it in, but my DM style relies on improvisation and immersion, and the ability to draw and use the tokens spontaneously would be huge. As it stands I can do this, but I cannot link a Sheet to it. In case you aren't aware of it, there is a guide for Linking Tokens to Character Sheet . If you mean that this process could be streamlined/improved, I agree that it's not entirely intuitive, but there are guides on how to do it. Save token to character (select the gif to make it start) Making token represent Character (select the gif to make it start) It seems you haven't user Roll20 too much, so it's possible what you're asking for as an new/standalone feature already exists, and I hope what I showed above helped you. If your suggestion is actually an suggestion to improve an existing feature , it would be more clear if the title said that.

I believe this  forum thread describes what Djimmi would like to do. Basically a way to turn drawing objects (created in the VTT with Roll20 drawing tools) into tokens.

Ooooh damn you're probably right, that's probably what OP meant. No idea idea where my reading comprehension disappeared. It seems this was a novel suggestion after all, and not even that niche, if you consider that using the different colors and shapes could be used for creating simple and useful tokens, especially if you'd also be able to Add text to them. Creating a green circle, drawing a quick face, or just making a token with the text "Goblin" in the middle, could be nice to be able to do. Well, making those gif wasn't completely wasted time, I'll ad them to the wiki at some point.
I think I am asking to be able to save a Page into my Art Gallery. You are correct, I am very new to roll20.
