[LFP][Online][5e][GMT-8] Looking for one player for an in-progress weekly Mythic Odysseys of Theros campaign

I'm looking for a player for a Theros campaign run weekly on Saturdays in the early afternoon (West-coast US time at 2pm) over discord voice-chat (voice and discord are required). Sandals and Sorcery; Gods and Monsters. MOoT races only We play for roughly 4 hours/session on Roll20 and use Discord for voice comms. We don't use video. Your character must be a hero! in the literal and classical senses of the word, so don your linothorax and grab your spatha 'cuz we've got some hero-ing to do. It's a god-centric campaign setting, so make sure you either love them, hate them, or both. There is no room for ambivalence. If you're interested in playing I need to know a bit of what you expect out of a campaign and also what would cause you to nope out so I know what themes to avoid. Also, this is a game in progress so you would be joining a group with a Sorcerer, a Warlock, an Artificer, and a Barbarian. The group is a little lite on melee so the above mention of linothorax and spathas is kind of important at this point. Please include a bit about what you would look forward to play, and what kind of story you would like to tell. We are currently 6th level and are using milestone advancement.

I'd be interested. I mostly look for 50/50 roleplay/combat out of a campaign, but I'm also fine with days where its more 75/25 in either direction. I like greek mythology and a world centered around that and interactions with the gods would be right up my alley, but I will admit I haven't read any of the Theros book, but if you guys would take me in I can get to reading it quick. That day and timeslot works for me as well. I'm also open to playing most roles, so if you're looking for more melee, I'm down for doing a fighter or paladin if need be. I honestly Expect a wholesome and fun experience with deep Roleplaying preferred alongside proper combat as well as the bonds you forge along the way.  For the story, I would like to tell I would like to be a Monk that aspires to become the embodiment of some aspect I would like to hash out more details with you but basically, I want to end up ascending to godhood, however, I can also play as suave Swashbucling Rogue that wishes to become the hero his father always told him about in the stories growing up and become that light that shines for the Future children.  Also as for themes, I am literally ok with anything as I have been a part of both some really evil and really not evil groups and have no problem with dark themes  

I like a balanced RP/Combat overall but if some sessions lean more one way than the other I'm still happy. Greek mythology is some of my favorite. The only things that'd make me nope out are sexual violence. Not interested in that at all. I'd love to play either a hexblade/paladin who's patron is Heliod and who's taking an oath of vengeance against all who would cast shadow over the world a fighter/totem barbarian who loves and follows Iroas. He's a braggadocious lover of battle who seeks to test his mettle against all and gain wide fame slaying evil beings or a cricle of the moon druid who hates Ephara and praises Nylea. He's none too happy to be in cities, finds them very distasteful and believes it will be the end of the world working as it should and wants the world to move back to the full acceptance of the wilds.
