Large Map with Dynamic Lighting Crashes Firefox Tab

Help! I created a very large map and wanted to see how it would look to my players, so I moved the Players Ribbon to that map, turned on Dynamic Lighting, put a player character I control on the map, and Rejoined as a Player. The tab crashes every time I try to load my game now. I can't get in to move the Ribbon or delete the giant map. I have a game coming up on Saturday and i need to access it to complete my planning. How to I get back into my game? Thanks in advance! --Steve Solomon a.k.a. Master Solomoni of Savage STEVE WARS
Did you try to use another browers to fix it?
How large was the map? And how many tokens on it had vision? A very large/complex map with many tokens with vision might crash any browser.

Try loading the game in a private browsing window. If you have split the party, you can try entering the game as a player on that page (unlikely, and would require temporarily promoting that player to GM). You can also file a  Help Center Request  and have a dev turn off DL for that page, or move the player ribbon for you. Make sure you indicate that impact of the issue on your ability to play.
Hey, thanks, everybody! I really appreciate all your suggestions. In fact, being the obsessive that I am, I stayed up STUPID LATE trying to fix the problem. I eventually managed to get back in by downloading Chrome, which let me back into the game. I solved the map problem (so far as I can tell until my players join the game tonight) by splitting the enormous map into FOUR separate, still large sections, one of which is outdoors (a landing platform), so there's no need for Dynamic Lighting. So far, I'm able to enter the game and navigate the other 3 indoor maps as a player, even with Dynamic Lighting turned on, but we'll see what happens when a party of four or five characters are present. If I absolutely have to, I can turn off Dynamic Lighting, as the maps are fairly atmospheric even without it, but I'm hoping to leave it on to add to the mood and enforce line of sight. Thanks again. I love the Roll20 community's willingness to help other players and GMs! You guys are the best! May the Force be with you! --Master Solomoni
To my great annoyance, once we had multiple characters with vision on the maps , scrolling and panning slowed so much that I couldn't run the game. I had to turn Dynamic Lighting off. I was hoping to use it because I have some NPCs who want to lurk in dark corners and spring out to launch sneak attacks. Now I have to hide them on the GM layer when I think no one can see them, and then move them to the objects and tokens layer when they become visible.Disappointing. Oh, well. Perhaps when I have money in my budget for a newer laptop this won't be such a problem. --Master Solomoni
