I know I've seen in various videos where the token bubbles are no longer running across the top but have been placed on the side of the selected token.  I cannot figure out how this was done.  Has anyone else seen this?

This isnt a feature of roll20. It can be done with something that modifies a page's CSS - there are browser extensions (like Stylus) that can enable this. There's a forum thread on here for these kind of tweaks but I dont remember its name.
