Shift double click on token won't bring up joural?

I don't know what is causing this to happen, but my new DM is going to kill me because I keep getting him to delete my character sheet and add another to try and fix this problem.... Normally I can shift+double click on my character token and bring up my character sheet. Now however it only brings up the "edit token" window? This is also interfering with some macros saying "no ability was found for %" If someone could help me get to the bottom of this i'd be very greatful! Thanks

It sounds like your token is not properly set to represent your character. Select your token and run @{selected|character_name} in chat. If you get an error message, the GM has likely not properly set your token. What sheet are you using?
This is the character sheet I'm using. I also tried your command and nothing happened. I'm not sure I'm doing it right though?

Okay there was a typo on your first bracket and I got it to work. so this is what came up. what directions can I give my DM to fix this issue?
I'm still learning Roll20 but make sure when you double click on the token your Represents Character is set correctly.

Keep in mind that the Represents setting is not something a player can access.  Only a GM can see that setting.

Sorry about the typo. :( If you had your token selected while running the command, and it was properly set up, it should have returned "Primrose". One other possibility: If you are placing the token on the tabletop yourself, make sure you are placing it from the Journal Tab, not dragging it from the character sheet. The latter will put an unattached graphic on the table and give you the results you are seeing.

Yes. Dragging from the character sheet is a common error, and results in an unassigned graphic. Drag from the name (not the handle) in the Journal tab. Hopefully, this is the root of the issues you are having.
