[LFG][D&D 5E] [EST] - Looking to Join My First Campaign - Text Only

Hi, my name is Dorian, I'm 34 and new to D&D. I stumbled across a D&D campaign on Youtube a little over a year ago and I've been completely hooked ever since. I've watched streams, read D&D books, but it hasn't been enough. I'm ready to actually play. That said, I would love to join a group that's welcoming and patient towards new players, including those who have not yet played at all. I'm also looking to start with text only to see if this is right for me, or if I should just stick to watching. I don't know how good my improv skills are, but I'll give it my best and I'm willing to be coached.  In turn, I am reliable and willing to purchase anything I need to play. New campaign preferred. You sound like me. If you find what you're looking for id love to come along for the ride. I love consuming anything dnd on youtube, I have read a ton of litrpg books, and I have played a couple of dnd games with a small group. To call them dnd games is a really loose description as we didn't use many of the rules, but im trying to get serious about it. Good luck to us both!
