5e OGL companion help

Having a possibly minor issue with the deathsave tracking feature of the 5e OGL companion api with the Esper Genesis character sheet which uses the Legacy 5e character sheet as a base. When I roll deathsaves the character sheet check boxes don't update nor does the message (1 of 3 successes, etc.) appear in chat. I thought it may be with just the esper genesis version of the legacy sheet, but I also checked the issue with the dd5thedition legacy sheet on Github via the custom character sheet option and the issue is still present there. All other auto tracking features (ammo, long rest, etc) appear to function properly in both the esper genesis and the legacy sheet. The issue is reproducible on all PC characters. I tested the issue with the 5e D&D by roll 20 sheet and the deathsaves function worked properly with that sheet template. My players likely won't mind ticking boxes themselves, but any help would be appreciated.

This functionality works.  Do you use Chrome?  Firefox is hit and miss.  It has worked for years.  There's something interfering with it.  Another API?  Roll20 API server has been hit and miss over the last few weeks.  So you could be rolling death save and nada happens because API server isn't working.  You won't get any messages in your own sandbox.
Yeah, I had issues a week ago where I thought the OGL companion's long rest feature wasn't working. Turns out it was just the API being morbidly slow/crashing.

@victor B Yes, I use chrome, i did try it out in firefox and even went to edge. But no avail. I turned off all other scripts but the ogl just to check that as well. @Jay R I figured it was a slow api after searching the forums, but thought it strange that the long rest and ammo functionality worked, and my api never gave me a crashed message. I also thought it strange that when I switched my character sheet to the roll 20 dnd sheet from my game's esper genesis character sheet, that everything worked smoothly. I figured if it was the api, these things would have been malfunctioning in those situations as well, but it only happens with the esper genesis character sheet. I definitely could be wrong, I havent run into too many issues with the API where it didn't crash or seem slow. IT is also my first time running a 5e style campaign, coming from the AGE system, so somewhat new to the character sheet and companion script.
