Chris M.: at least some new axes and swords, etc. Ideally pikes   Devin M.: If nothing else, I think they could figure out shields.   Chris M.: well . I'm thinking of the display, not the utility the utility of the display   Aratheas: ok, lets fast forward a bit, a roll indicates that the mongrelmen didn't encounter anyone when they went to fetch the items, gold and gems at the warehouse.   Chris M.: So Zhora w/ take MMs to warehouse now she w/ use Barbarian powers to scout ahead and keep eye open for enemy abush   Aratheas: and Zhora returns with the horde   Chris M.: Ok. It's done then. Whew   Lo shan : we can give them weapons but dont have time for custom armor think of them as thieves cant use pole arms like pikes   Chris M.: Looking food, dudes! (Sheila)   Dalnoth (Gabe): How bout catapults? lol   Chris M.: Ok. So handaxes, shortswords, daggers, whatnot. Fine can we get the catapults? That w/ impress tasloi   Aratheas: those would be to hard to hide, let alone bring to the village   Chris M.: I don't want tp hide them. I want them to be seen we have the MMs to drag the catapuls they are designed to be moved   Lo shan : leave them the whole caper is done if w move them   Chris M.: If you say so Zhora: if we must hide tem, we just cover them w/ tarps and dead leaves   Aratheas: what they have consists of blowguns, clubs and bastard swords or short swords   Chris M.: that's fine It's not the effectivenes. it's the show   Xilicien: Do we have poisons to complement the blowguns? Or they.   Chris M.: If we show them capapults, the Tasloi w/ not want to oppose us and might see that we have the power to bombard the yuan Ti   Mongrelman #03 -SW1b, Attacks with the BLOW GUN at Pavel enemy! Blow Gun Strike Hits an AC of  1  For  4  S/M/L Damage! Plus Save Vs Paralyzation or be Paralyzed for  4  turns due to paralyzing venom! Note: Make save roll each round, a success indicates the venom has worn off!   Lo shan : not unless they have it   Chris M.:   Xilicien: I'll take that as a yes.   Chris M.: You need poison?   Aratheas: as you can see it paralyzes you until you can roll a successful save   DETECT PLANTS CHECK For Zhora the Barbarian Duration 3  Turns Max Area Of Effect 30 ft diameter circle Max When this is used by a Barbarian, he/she is able to locate any desired type of plant within the area of effect. Note: the plant type must be singular and concentrated upon. The spell’s area of effect centers on, and moves with, the Barbarian.   Deadly Nightshade?   Aratheas: you are specifically looking for that type of plant?   Chris M.: yes, w/ my spell like ability   Aratheas: just roll a 25% or less on a d100 then   Chris M.: rolling d100( 99 ) = 99 oops   Aratheas: ok, none around for Zhora   Chris M.: I'll take a wander around the perimeter for 3 turns while the spell lasts   Xilicien: If we're in a cave complex, it is more likely we'd find poisonous fungus.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok so give me 2 more d100 rolls   Lo shan : too much work to brew it and make it so they can use it   Chris M.: It's not hard at all   Dungeon Master (GM): yea, certainly won't have it ready for daylight   Chris M.: you mash it thenm bool it then reduce the soup to a jelly easy peezy   Dungeon Master (GM): ok like i said you get two more tries at it, roll the d100   Chris M.: rolling d100( 3 ) = 3   Lo shan : all while being careful not to inhale it   Chris M.: rolling d100( 77 ) = 77   Dungeon Master (GM): ok so you found a batch and can make some   Chris M.: The process takes about the same amount of time it takes to make spaghetti sauce   Dungeon Master (GM): ok then and what exactly is the effect of the poison?   Chris M.: It w/ make you sick if you get it in your blood   Lo shan : hours then plus its toxic to touch or smell

Please join me over here so they can see us clearly w/ white flag   Dungeon Master (GM): Viewed from a distance, this area appears to be nothing more than a copse of trees that grew up in an area of parkland. The branches are thick here. You see that a great deal of underbrush, more than normal, is clustered around the base of the trees. Most of it is living, but scattered throughout are dead thorn bushes. ok what happens is Max hollers up near the largest tree with the huge platform then suddenly a vine is dropped down to him I am checking to see if there is any sort of roll needed to climb up ok, i am not seeing one but it is a 100 ft climb   Dalnoth (Gabe): thats a big tree   Dungeon Master (GM): thieves need a climb walls check, others a dexterity check, for this i will just go with one check instead of 10 so Brendon give me a climb walls check   Lo shan : We'll wait for him to come back   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Brendan M.: rolling d100( 16 ) = 16   Dungeon Master (GM): that's a success!
