Tool proficiencies question/suggestion

Hello, Been playing with my friends using this site for a while now, so far we love the site! I do have a question/suggestion. Recently my character has acquired more tools and kits (Disguise kit, forgery kit, etc). for which she doesn't have any proficiencies. This means that I would like to add these kits to the "Tool Proficiencies & Custom Skills" section in her character sheet, but at the same time set that kit to have no proficiency. As of this moment the only options I see are "Proficient", "Expertise", and "Jack of all trades". Is there a way to enable this feature? and if not please add this option. I would greatly appreciate it and I'm sure more people would find it useful as well :D. Thanks!

If the PC doesn't have proficiency, then any checks with the tools would just be straight ability checks, e.g. DEX, etc. You could still just add the tools to the player's inventory to denote that they have them (and thus could attempt the check), and then just check the relevant ability. Option 2: Add the tool to the proficencies section like you have done, and change the "mod" property to -@{pb} . This will add (then subtract) the proficiency bonus, resulting in a effectively a straight ability check.
Appreciate the help! I tried typing -@{pb} into the mod field but when I click the kit the die gets thrown as if nothing was typed there (like an empty mod field), no error no nothing, not sure why. :/ Regarding the general suggestion, I think is helps having a dedicated section for tools, kits and custom skills, where even if the PC has no proficiency with a tool, when you click on it it will say in the chat window what type of roll you're doing. Meaning that yes I'm essentially doing a straight up INT check but the roll says Disguise Kit, which is cool I guess. Either way, thanks again for the help, for now I'll just add a mod value of -3 and I'll have to remember to update that once I level up.

Hmm, this worked for me in testing. Sounds like you might be using 3d dice though (?) - maybe something isn't compatible? At least the manual mod is working for you.
