Players experiencing heavy lag with explorer mode on a specific page

Greetings, Last Saturday our group experienced an odd thing.  I built a dungeon using tiles with dynamic lighting on, explorer mode on, and daylight mode on.  The map is kind of large 70w x 90t and restrict movement on.  Player token are set to vision on.  In the past we have had no issues with these settings but this past weekend the client was too laggy for them and the work around we ended up on was turning off explorer mode.  Is the map too large?  Should I remove daylight mode and just make the tokens emit light?  Looking for any advice so I can fix this for them before next weekend.  It is important to note I created an alt account to test the page as a a player and did experience a tiny bit of lag but nowhere near unplayable.  They would try to do something on the client and it would take almost 5-6 seconds for a response.  <SNIP> I hope I gave enough information but will provide anything else I need to get to the bottom of this thanks!

If you are having significant issue with dynamic lighting, the way I get around it to avoid ALL issues it to turn off dynamic lighting.  Turn on Fog of War and reveal areas that the players can see.  A bit more manual work, but no reason to beat a head against a wall when there's a work around, especially in the middle of a game
You have posted a join link for your game.  I clicked on it by mistake and I ended up joining your game (I have now left it). I would suggest removing that link.
Thank you for the replies. I will try your suggestion and thank you for the heads up about the link!
Does no one else find it ridiculous that the answer to problems with DL is always "turn it off"? It's seriously getting annoying and been going on for a very long time now. Why am I paying for pro again? How long are they going to take to fix these issues? Ugh!
Having the same issue. After fiddling with Dynamic Lighting for a bit I found that turning off Explorer mode eliminated the lag. Hopefully there's a way to keep explorer mode on and keep the game from dragging to a crawl.

There is an update being tested on dev that is supposed to address some lag problems. Fingers crossed.

Our group has also experienced significant lag when using Explorer mode with new Dynamic Lighting.  If just the GM & one other player are logged in, Explorer Mode works fine with little if any lag.  As soon as a third (or more) player joins, massive lag occurs even on very high spec equipment and fibre broadband, to the degree everything becomes unplayable.  Turning off Explorer Mode and leaving all other Dynamic Lighting features on immediately eliminates the lag. 53 x 43 map @ 35px resolution, extensive use of lighting walls and light sources (i.e. not daylight mode), mixed characters some with normal vision and others with night vision, restricted movement, no legacy lighting ever used on this map. The map is complex (hence the 35px resolution) so the players would very much like Explorer Mode to work.
