How do use my gift credits?

A friend helped me out to get a year long plus subscription by gifting me the money necessary to purchase it  However I do not know how to use my credits to purchase a year long subscription. To be more specific i only get the option to purchase by using a card (which is impossible for me) Any help would be appreciated

You use a credit card (or PayPal) account to establish a payment plan, but then instead of pulling from the credit card or PayPal it will pull from your credits. If you don't want a charge on your card you'll need to cancel after your credits have been expended.

That or a PayPal account. Those are the only forms of payment they accept to start a subscription, which you need to have in place to use the credits.
