A new kind of exploding dice

The Swedish roleplaying game "Eon" runs it's own kind of exploding dice known as unlimited dice. In Eon you roll everything with a number of d6 and every roll of 6 is removed and then rerolled as 2d6. Thus if I were to roll 4d6 resulting in 3, 5, 1, 6 I would keep the 3, 5, 1 but remove the 6 and roll an extra 2d6 in it's stead. This repeats until there are no 6s showing. In other words these unlimited dice can never end as a 6 but keep multiplying. I can't find any way to simulate this system of unlimited dice in roll20 and it would be much appreciated if support for it could be added.

Currently the only way I can think of simulating it without the mentor feature, API, is to create a rollable table. -additional clarification- this would just simulated the manual rolling of dice at an actual table. The gm would need to have a large enough stack of dice on the table for everyone to use and the players would have to select and roll the dice as they needed. If the 6 was rolled then the player would need to select it and another die from the pool of dice to roll. this is the only way I can think of using the system at this present time unless you subscribe to use the API.
