Display names in multi-sided token selection dialog

When selecting a side for a multi-sided token, it would be helpful to display the name along with the icon. My D&D campaign has a couple Druids who are able to shift into various animal forms. To support this, I have attached their player tokens to a rollable table with 88 entries. Choosing a side for their token based on the image alone is very difficult, especially since the image itself cannot be enlarged. Providing the name along with the icon would greatly improve the usability of this feature, especially when used in conjunction with large tables.

Oh Gods, that would be so great. Excellent suggestion. Able to add my +1 vote to this now. We have to get this over +10 within 30 days or it will get closed. Please Also make the Token image larger, make that whole dialog panel larger, so that I can SEE the images to choose from better, as well as showing a name for each side. For example if I have a multi-sided token that shows a face with various expressions, I need to be able to see the Smile or Frown or Skepticism or Anger expression in detail, to be able to choose the correct side.

Maybe instead of a slider, it might be best to have the popup window populated with all the images with a scroll bar along the side instead of a single image above a slider.  That might make it easier to tell one from another if they are all displayed.  I have to admit I never really paid attention to the size of the image, because I have mostly used multi-sided tokens to populate public areas, so I drag a bunch out, select them all, and hit random side.  The image is rather small when I opened up the dialogue on my "townsfolk" token to take a look.  I guess I would say that a larger image and more images visible at once would be nice.

I endorse Kraynic's upgrade on the idea, concept, mock-up design for this. You're right, that would be better, the pop-up window populated with images instead of the slider that only shows 1 at a time. Also another feature: Allow the Rollable Token to contain pre-sized, differently sized tokens.  If the druid turns into a mouse, you want that token side to be a small square. If the druid turns into a Dragon, I want that side to be saved in the LARGE size (amount of squares/pixels). The current rollable token only lets all the sides be the same size, so the illusionist or shapechanger has to ask the DM to resize it every time they change appearance. Yeah I have lots of examples where I've used Multi-sided Rollable Tokens for different purposes other than the drag-out-a-bunch and randomize.  You can use them to make your Warrior who has a Sword, and your same warrior when he has a Club, and when he has a Flag, and when he is riding a Horse. You can use them to make a Goblin who is fighting, and that same goblin when he is Bleeding, and that same goblin laying on the ground when it is Dead. Your spellcaster can use them to contain all the Area Of Effect and "magic effects" graphics (commonly sold in Roll20 marketplace) for all their spells. An illusionist can have a Token that contains 20 or more different illusion ideas, all different sizes from a butterfly illusion, up to a dragon illusion.

Gold said: Yeah I have lots of examples where I've used Multi-sided Rollable Tokens for different purposes other than the drag-out-a-bunch and randomize.  I have a player in one of my games venturing into using disguise a lot and he has a collection of preset "personas" that he has the clothing/gear to emulate.  But I "cheated" and have a TokenMod chat menu set up for him to change token side and display name with a click on that menu.  I also have a full alphabet on a token for a combination lock that the players haven't gotten to that also is set up with a TokenMod chat menu. Basically, I have avoided using the slider with things where I might want a specific side, so I haven't really paid much attention to that interface until now!
