Updated Dynamic Lighting has terriblle lag when enabled

When playing with updated dynamic lighting the game instantly starts to lag to the point where it is almost unplayable. Tokens take up to 3 seconds to update, as in, even recognize they've been clicked on let alone move with the mouse when dragged. The same with the ruler tool, and this is isn't even on an intensive map. This is on a 30x30 map where the only things that can see are the players, and there is a total of about 3 light sources. It got to the point in my most recent session where I couldn't open doors I had drawn on with the lighting tool because I would move the door on my screen, and the lighting wouldn't' update for everyone else so they would still be looking at a lighting wall. None of these issues occur when I chance it back to legacy lighting. I don't want to have to switch back to legacy because I like the new features in updated, but its getting to the point where I have to chose between using legacy or not using dynamic lighting at all. Side note, this isn't a hardware issue. I have an RX Vega 64, a Ryzen 1700X and 16GB RAM with hardware acceleration turned on in my browser.

I am having the same problem with doors.
James K. said: I am having the same problem with doors. how is the performance on your machine? Are you also getting incredibly lag when trying to move tokens around?
I'm just preparing for my next session and I have the same issues. Moving tokens, opening and closing doors, even zooming and scrolling on the map has a huge lag. I don't think this will get better with my players on the map, so I will switch back to legacy for the time being. I have heard the same from a few fellow DM's. I'm wondering if it actually work for people.
I've also been having that issue. DM in another game I'm playing has reported the same to me too.

Post any UDL related issue in the dedicated thread for it, it makes it easier for Roll20 to keep track of reports coming from the forums: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9072910/updated-dynamic-lighting-feedback-thread The first page of the thread might already list your thing as a known issue.
Take off explorer mode as that generally tends to slow things down
