New player looking for dnd 5e group

Hi, my name is Rob & I'm 37. I've always been interested in dnd but have never had friends that are interested in playing.  I'm looking for a group to help guide me through the game.  I'll be honest & say I'm anxious about it because it's out of my comfort zone but i think after a couple off sessions that would go away.  I live in the uk & could play any evening after 7.

I understand your anxiety, I think every player has that, so understand that there's no wrong way to play the game, just find a good group and flesh out the ideas you have in your head, and let your fellow players do the same. And if you die, roll up a new character and learn how not to die so much. It's easy! lol
