Farren Nidanas: Ok I need to buy some darts if possible in the city. Running low on ranged attacks hahaha Hello Dolores   Klona: hi   Farren Nidanas: Hello Buddy Hello DM   Dungeon Master (GM): Hello All!   Roqar: Good morning   Buddy D.: howdy how are yall doing   Armanuk: hi very tired lol   Klona: hii   Farren Nidanas: Roqar, so this town is THE town where most of us live?   Roqar: Its been our Bae   Dungeon Master (GM): as for a price on that farm i will have stonehill say it is  120  gp to buy   Roqar: Base   Farren Nidanas: Huh . . . ok   Dungeon Master (GM): yea, more of a base, until Roqar buys that farm   Farren Nidanas: First time being here hahaha   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, we shall get underway after I find a bit of information I want Stonehill to mention   Farren Nidanas: DM, based from what Roqar have said. The group got a bathtub and a chest from the mansion? While Dolores got a staff and Roqar got a cloak? And now we're here because of Falcon?   Dolores: oh shoot i need to BRB for like 20-30mins ill try to be back sooner   Roqar: We came to th Inn and saw him here   (From Farren Nidanas):  Ohh and to whoever controlled my character last session. Thanks for adding the exp. Now at lvl 3 :)   Roqar: Its ok Dolores   Farren Nidanas: Do what you need to do Dolores   Buddy D.: yeah we got this   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, as you relax in the Stonehill Inn the bartender owner tells Roqar:   Toblen Stonehill the InnKeeper Says: "That old farm is selling for 120 gp, if you are interested go talk to townmaster Harbin Wester about it, Roqar."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Thanks will do that, anyone want to chip in for it? I have half the money"   Pip Stonehill Says: "Do you folks now about that old stone lighthouse, on the coast west of Phandalin? It's haunted you know! Ships are drawn to it's gleaming tower, like moths to a flame and are doomed to crash upon the rocks below it! Those wrecks must be filled with treasure!"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "We should go exploring that area"   Farren the Elf Monk Says: "Not really having a heavy pouch right now . . . Sorry just recently used currency again after a long time. Anybody else?"   Toblen Stonehill the InnKeeper Says: "Yes, would be interesting to see if the place is actually haunted!"   Armanuk the Minotaur Barbarian Says: "Ha ha, i would chip in but im a little low on coin at the moment "   Falcon the Hunter Says: "Well, it is good to see you folks again!"   Buddy D.: i have 65 gp   Hermit8: Hey guys   Buddy D.: hey ho amigo   Falcon the Hunter: Hello Hermit8!   Farren the Elf Monk Says: "That sounds good. So where will we keep "these" stuff? Can't really haul these while we go to the lighthouse."   Buddy D.: exactly   Farren Nidanas: (Do we drop off the bathtub and the chest in town for now?)   Willie Belson: I want someone to carry the bath so I can take baths along the way   Farren Nidanas: (Then bring the chest in the city on another time?)   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Thanks, Willie, now, we'll have a place to stay"   Falcon the Hunter Says: "Barthen's might be able to store it for you for a small fee"   Dungeon Master (GM): he runs the provisions shop   Willie Belson: sweet   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Hey Falcon, What brings you here?"   Farren Nidanas: (Its your call if you want to pitch in Buddy)   Falcon the Hunter Says: "Well, you see, the lodge was attacked again after you all left for the woodland manse."
Farren Nidanas: (Can someone do a quick ping on where the farmhouse is?) (nvm, saw it hahaha)   Hermit8: Sorry im late   Farren Nidanas: (Damn, three buildings for 120gp)   Falcon the Hunter Says: "This time it was Anchorites lead by this huge boar, the size of an elephant, with electricity shooting from it's 4 tusks!"   Willie Belson: ill pay for it   Falcon the Hunter Says: "We had to flee the place."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Glad you got away safely"   Armanuk the Minotaur Barbarian Says: "A boar the size of an elephant you say, now that sounds like quite the fun ha ha"   Farren Nidanas: (If the deal is done. We can just leave the bathtub and the chest at Roqar's place)   Falcon the Hunter Says: "I am glad as well."   Dungeon Master (GM): as mentioned you need to visit Harbin Wester's townhall to buy the house   Farren Nidanas: (But for more security, maybe at Barthen's if they're trustworthy)   Roqar: (They re trustworthy just like most of this town   Farren Nidanas: (Can't really find where Harbin is at the moment)   Falcon the Hunter Says: "It seems they are trying to chase everyone out of Neverwinter forest, that they don't consider an ally."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Sounds like we have to seek the out again"   Falcon the Hunter Says: "I have heard rumors from the nobles that visit the lodge, of strange magics pervading the Neverwinter woods, confounding navigators and obscuring the ancient ruins of bygone kingdoms, lost in it's depths."   Says: "It might be the reason why the Cragmaws main base can not be found."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "We really need to check that out"   Farren the Elf Monk Says: "One thing at a time Roqar."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Take a drink from her bottle of whiskey   Falcon the Hunter Says: "That druid fellow in Thundertree, might be able to help you as he knows the forest like the back of his hand."   Armanuk the Minotaur Barbarian Says: "I agree, i do not know this falcon very well. but his plight seems very worthy of help"   Willie Belson: exactly   Falcon the Hunter Says: "Wow, Roqar, that brand is pretty strong stuff."   Armanuk the Minotaur Barbarian Says: "plus that boar intrigues me haha"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "We could have a big pig roast as a house warming party haha"   Armanuk the Minotaur Barbarian Says: "now your talking my style haha"   Farren the Elf Monk Says: "So what'll it be everyone? To the Old Stone Lighthouse or to Thundertree?"   Falcon the Hunter Says: "It may be helpful to spy on the lodge and see where they go from there. It may lead us to another base of theirs? Do you think you cleared them fully out of that old woodland manse?"   Hermit8: Hey DM, should I finish my character?? Or wait   Falcon the Hunter Says: "Spying there may be a bit tricky since you won't know if some animal is actually an anchorite in disquise."   Dolores: you should finish your character so you could join us next time @hermit8   Falcon the Hunter: what's left to do on the sheet Hermit?   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "We went through the whole place, but, they may have moved back in"   Dolores: if it's nearly done maybe you could join us before we leave town and also, im back   Falcon the Hunter the Says: "Well that old light house is off the main road from Neverwinter city anyways, it's just a bit south of phandalin."   Hermit8: No I'd rather wait after its done See how the party does   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Hm and Neverwinter is on the road to Thundertree"   Falcon the Hunter: looks like Hermit just needs to do some leveling up let me bring up the world map so we can see what's what
Farren the Elf Monk Says: "But do we need to ask the druid's help at thundertree?" (Where is the lighthouse? Near Neverwinter?   Dungeon Master (GM): Hmm, interesting the lighthouse itself is not marked on the map, though I wonder if it is west of Leilon, which may be another encounter there in itself. It's Leilon that is southwest of Phandalin and just north of the Mere of Dead Men, Leilon is on the main road going south   Farren Nidanas: (Mmhmm . . . ok thanks for the ping)   Dungeon Master (GM): That is known as the High Road let me look here a moment on any info regarding Leilon or for a map for that matter.   Farren Nidanas: (So . . . (1) Get the druid's help in Thundertree to navigate the Neverwinter woods to the lodge, (2) Old Stone Lighthouse) (Ohhh and (0) Roqar does the deal with Harbin Wester) (In no particular order)   Dungeon Master (GM): Ok, according to the description the lighthouse is 35 miles west of Phandalin.   Roqar: Yes sounds like a plan, Willie, you have 5 gp left frm that 65 I will have 1 and some silver   Farren Nidanas: And if possible, can I stop by the forge in Phandalin to buy some darts?   Toblen Stonehill: says, "If you leave at dawn you should be able to reach the lighthouse by nightfall folks."   Willie Belson: thank you roqar   Roqar "May as well tak the stuff with us stop off at Neverwinter, get it looked over and then oto Tndetree"   Willie Belson: I agree   Farren Nidanas nods   (From Farren Nidanas):  How much can I buy darts at the forge?   Dolores closes the book she has been reading for the last hour and returns to the current reality   Toblen Stonehill: says, "Yes the blacksmith here makes weapons for the town. so try there for your darts.   Farren Nidanas "Thank you"   Dungeon Master (GM): the darts would cost 5 coppers   Roqar: Off to buy the house "Hey Sildar, Wanna come with me?"   Farren Nidanas: (player's handbook shows a dart costs 5 cp a pop) (is this conversion correct? 1/2pp=1gp=2ep=20sp=200cp)   Dungeon Master (GM): looks right   Roqar the Elf Rogue Knocks n the door   Dungeon Master (GM): Roxxi you can start at the townhall, ok   Dolores: (would harbin know what kind of staff i got?)   Harbin Wester: Harbin answers the door by talking through it without opening it as has been the norm since word of two dragons have been spotted flying around. (I doubt it Dolores as he is not one that studies magics or antique artifacts.)   Dolores: (ill try barthen's provisions)   Farren Nidanas buys 10 darts from Thagren   Harbin Wester the Town Master Says: "Yes, Hello! Whom is so kind as to visit townhall today? How can I help you?"   Farren Nidanas hands over 50cp   Dungeon Master (GM): (ok Dolores)   Roqar: Harbin: Whos there? Roqr: A Dragon, haha, come on open the damn door   Dungeon Master (GM): ok Thargren thanks Farren for the business and hands him the darts   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Roqa and Sildar I wanna buy the farmhouse"   Sildar Hallwinter the Human Fighter Says: "Harbin, come on now, It is me, sildar Hallwinter and I am with Lady Roqar here! She is interested on buy that old farm that is for sale."   Farren the Elf Monk Says: "Thank you and see you in another time when I need more darts."   Harbin Wester the Town Master Says: "Oh Sildar! Ok, Ok, Hold on, let me unlock the locks here and let you both inside." you hear the sounds of Harbin fussing with the locks and to Sildar it sounds like he added a couple more. The door opens and harbin waves you both inside   Says: "So the young maiden would like to buy a farm?"   Dolores looks through the windows of the shop   Roqar: (Should bust in sometime "A Dragon would just tear the roof off")   Dungeon Master (GM): ok Dolores sees that it appears they are busy loading up a customers cart of supplies   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Yes, I do, Decided that since we spend our downtime here usually may as well settlein"   Elmar Barthen the Provisioner Says: "Hey there young lady in the window? Can I be of help for you?!"   Says: "The asking price for the farm is 120 gold pieces. You don't have to pay the full price all at once. We can break it down to monthly payments."   Dolores: (dolores didnt pay attention to the voice as her mind was a circus of thoughts of whether to go in or not)   Dolores enters through the other door anyway
Elmar Barthen: Elmar sees that Dolores seems to be deep in though and figures she is just browsing to see what the shop has.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "I'd rather pay it all at once and be done with it, I have 120 gold here"   Dolores looks at the shopkeeper for a few good seconds before talking   Elmar Barthen the Provisioner Says: "Young Miss, If you need any help just let me know, you are free to browse of course."   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "Do you have anyone here who specializes in magic items?"   Harbin Wester the Town Master Says: "So Roqar, how would you like to make the payments on the farm?"   Elmar Barthen the Provisioner Says: "Magic Items? Hmm, I am afraid not, not here in Phandalin at least."   Roqar: Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "I'd ratherpay it all at once and be done with it, I have 120 gold here"   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "That's a shame. I was hoping you would be able to identify this staff."   Dolores puts the staff on the messy table.   Dolores: (careful not to disturb it)   Farren Nidanas: (What staff did you get?)   Harbin Wester the town Master Says: "[Harbin's eyes go wide in surprise], Well looks like the young lass has being saving up for a rainy day. Alright, you may pay it in full now."   Dungeon Master (GM): (Farren it was found in the mantelpiece of the fireplace in the 2nd floor bedroom of the woodland manse, no one can ID it yet.)   Dolores: (a Mysterious Wooden Staff farren)   Farren Nidanas: (So probably a druidic focus staff . . . maybe we can identify it with the same druid at Thundertree) (anyways, thanks for the additional info)   Roqar the Elf Rogue Hands over the money to Harbin   Elmar Barthen the Provisioner Says: "Well, it sure is a finely crafted staff and looks new, has magics been detected eminating from it?" Harbin takes the money and places it in a lock box and then retrieves the deed to the farm.   Says: "All I need is your Signature Roqar and mine and I will date it. We have two copies, one for you , one for me to keep on file."   Farren Nidanas: (Legal system ftw)   Roqar: Roqar signs it and takes her copy   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "Positively sure magic was detected on it when I found it."   Harbin Wester the Town Master Says: "Alright young lady, the farm is all yours now."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Thanks, I have such plans for it, be seeing you"   Farren Nidanas: (What are its features hahaha)   Elmar Barthen the Provisioner Says: "I see and you are of course hoping to see what it does."   Farren Nidanas: (Congrats Roqar)   Roqar: House field barn shack good enough hehe   Dolores takes the staff back   Harbin Wester the Town Master Says: "Have you seen the job postings on the board out front? You are welcome to put in for any of them."   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "Thank you for your time, it seems like I have to try my luck elsewhere."   Farren Nidanas: (Three structures, nice) (Wait the field is also part of the deal?)   Dolores looks around the store for anything of interest before she leaves like components or spellbooks (or just books in general)   Elmar Barthen the Provisioner Says: "Hmm, well, the Druid fellow up in Thundertree might be able to Identify the staff for you."   Roqar: (Yes, farmland)   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "Thanks, I'll see about that. Do you have any spellbooks I could look at?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "I'll look them over on my way out"   Farren Nidanas: (Very nice, now you only need a tenant to use the field and you'll have a source of income)   Elmar Barthen the Provisioner Says: "[Elmar sees Dolores browsing the produce the farmers drop off here to sell) Feel free to pick anything you like I have fruits, veggies, herbs and spices here. Nope, sorry no spellbooks here, my lady."   Roqar: (Income? Thats why I go on these dvntures haa) adventures   Farren Nidanas: (You'll never know Roqar. Produce can yield money when the harvest is good) (Or if you have another thing planned for the field then its your choice)
Roqar: My harvest will be Willies green tabbacco plenty o potential income   Farren Nidanas: (So will we be leaving the bathtub and chest at your home or at Barthen's?)   Roqar: My place   Elmar Barthen: alright   Farren Nidanas: (Will we stop by this place again after going to the lighthouse or will we head straight to Neverwinter/Thundertree?)   Roqar: I'm thinking take it to Neverwinter   Farren Nidanas: (Because if we're going to the city, its best to bring the chest to get it open there)   Elmar Barthen: (that might depend on how banged up and on what you find there)   Farren Nidanas: (along I mean)   Roqar: Yes true depends what we find at th lighthouse   Farren Nidanas: (The chest we have right now hahaha)   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, when you take it to Neverwinter I will roll on if there is a magic-user in town that has a knock spell   Roqar: or can also identify stuff   Farren Nidanas: (I say we bring it along with us and leave the bathtub here)   Dungeon Master (GM): that as well   Roqar: oh yes not carrying the bathtub anywhere now   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, Roqar did you want to see the jobs on the board?   Roqar: Yes   Dungeon Master (GM): ok hold on   Mountain Toe Goldmine Job: “The Mountain’s Toe Gold Mine lies fifteen miles northeast of Phandalin. The new overseer, Don-Jon Raskin, just made the trip from Neverwinter to Phandalin and needs to be escorted to the mine. There’s no telling what dangers lie between here and there. Once you deliver Raskin safe and sound, return to Townmaster Harbin Wester to collect a reward of 100 gp.”   Roqar: Got to get paid to be able to pay the M-U for using their magic   Dungeon Master (GM): Falcon’s Hunters Lodge Job: “The orcs have fallen under the sway of evil spellcasters in Neverwinter Wood, and have been sighted in growing numbers near Falcon’s Hunting Lodge. The spellcasters dwell in a ruined manse. Falcon needs someone to make a preemptive strike against it. Destroy the evil in the manse, then expect him to reward you.   Axeholm Job: “Within a mountain fifteen miles south of Phandalin stands the ancient dwarven fortress of Axeholm, which has been sealed for years. If a dragon attack is imminent, the people of Phandalin might need to evacuate and take refuge in Axeholm. To that end, someone needs to open the fortress and make it safe for habitation. Once you accomplish these tasks, return to Townmaster Wester to collect a reward of 250 gp.”   Dragon Barrow Job: “The dragon that besets us is not the first to threaten this region. Between here and Neverwinter lies the barrow mound of a warrior whose magical dragon-slaying sword helped fell a green dragon terrorizing the High Road a century ago. Rumor has it the dragon slayer sword is buried there too. Retrieve it, and let the sword be its own reward!”   Ok those are the posted jobs   Roqar: Great most go along with our own planned travel   Farren Nidanas: Didn't we do the Orc one? Or is it a new/update one?   Dungeon Master (GM): of course it looks like one has already been done with the hunting lodge so you would have informed Harbin   Roqar: and got paid hehe so end up paying less for the farm hehe   Farren Nidanas: Ahh so you got the 60gp from Falcon   Dungeon Master (GM): no need to roleplay that out we just say Harbin knows of your romps in the Neverwinter woods and the outcomes and knows why Falcon is in town, so he is also afraid this elephant sized boar may encourage an attack on Phandalin more likely than Conyberry since the town doesn't have a Banshee protecting it. ok, so shall we fast forward to the next morning and we are off to the haunted lighthouse?   Farren Nidanas: Good for me.   Roqar: Yes Roqar pays a visit to theTymora shrine before leaving   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Willie Belson: yea   Dungeon Master (GM): I will just do a couple of wandering monster checks, one for the triboar trail and one for the area around the light house (To GM)rolling d6( 2 ) = 2   Dungeon Master (GM): (To GM)rolling d6( 6 ) = 6   Dungeon Master (GM): and there were no encounters so now I shall bring up the lighthouse map after i copy/paste the party onto it   Willie Belson: What do you want to do?   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, looks like you come to a cliff area where there are steps carved into it.   Area Description: Below the high cliff that hugs the coastline, an outcropping of rock is nearly surrounded by water, with only a narrow causeway connecting it to the beach below. Atop this outcropping is a stone building surmounted by a lighthouse tower. An eerie green light pulses from this beacon, shining westward out to sea. With each green pulse of light, you hear the thump of a slow-beating heart.   Roqar: 9 | 2 PERCEPTION  (1) Roqar   Willie Belson: 23 | 14 PERCEPTION  (3) Willie Belson bam
Roqar: Any traps?   Dungeon Master (GM): (by the way when you reached the area you camped out over night and this is the start of the 2nd day after the traveling)   Farren Nidanas: 23 PERCEPTION  (6) Farren Nidanas   Dungeon Master (GM): ok and what were those two trying to perceive and farren too?   Roqar: Traps?   Willie Belson: traps   Dungeon Master (GM): No traps were found!   Hermit8: Alrighty guys ive got ot go something came up bye   Farren Nidanas: I'm just sensing the surroundings, not particularly traps   Roqar: Bye   Dolores: bye hermit   Armanuk: cya   Willie Belson: asta luago   Farren Nidanas: Bye Hermit, take care   Dungeon Master (GM): ok the description does not match the map but it says these steps go all the way down to the shore   Willie Belson: 27 | 9 STEALTH  (7) Willie Belson i sneak down the steps   Roqar: 3 | 18 STEALTH  (2) Roqar   Willie Belson: dayum   Farren Nidanas: big yikes   Willie Belson: nat 20 and nat 1   Dolores: uh oh   Farren Nidanas: 22 STEALTH  (4) Farren Nidanas   Roqar: I trip ad fall down the stairs   Willie Belson: hahahahah   Dolores: roqar breaks her neck in the fall and DIES   Farren Nidanas: thats stealth, that just means all notices you (Now all of china knows you are here)   Dolores: (i get that reference)   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, now as you go down the steps and out over the beach you see a giant crab to the north   Roqar: 12 | 14 ACROBATICS  (4) Roqar And stand up at the bottom   Farren Nidanas: (Don't be like this . . . I haven't eaten yet)   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, now that is all you really are seeing, nothing more is perceived as you descended the stairs and come out over the beach area ha ha Roqar, somersaults down the stairs!   Dolores: oh wheres my token   Farren Nidanas: (Roqar, make yourself full hit points :) )   Dungeon Master (GM): I am going to go by what the map depicts so that means that if you want to mess with a giant crab you have to climb down off the path which looks to be between 5 to 20 feet up over the beach area.   Roqar: Naw leave it hehe   Farren Nidanas: Yep   Dungeon Master (GM): the crab does notice you looks for a moment then starts to move to the causeway, waving it’s claws wildly!   Armanuk: not feeling like seafood at the moment   Roqar: Loks like Crab legs for lunch hehe   Dungeon Master (GM): ok looks like the crab is trying for Armanuk   Claw Giant Crab Attack: 9  |  22 Damage:   7  bludgeoning Attacks: Armanuk! The target is grappled, escape dc 11 The crab has two claws, each of which can grapple only one target   a miss you can stay and fight or keep going up the path   Armanuk the Minotaur Barbarian Says: "I was goin to let you be, but seems you wish to meet defeat. then so be it ha ha"   Farren Nidanas: Damn, that is a long reaching crab 5 to 20 ft   Willie Belson: that looks like the crabs my marines got after at night in thailand   Giant Crab Says: "Wait! Wait! before you go up there! I must warn you! I was trying to stop you!"
Farren the Elf Monk !?1?   Dungeon Master (GM): yes to your amazement this crab can speak   Galdor the Dwarf Cleric Says: "Why stop us?"   Willie Belson: holy shit   Armanuk the Minotaur Barbarian Says: "well damn, it speaks"   Willie Belson: does the crab speak common or it is in our minds   Dungeon Master (GM): What it has for a mouth is moving as it speaks.   Farren the Elf Monk Pray tell Crab. Share us with your wisdom.   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "Very interesting..."   Giant Crab Says: "There are evil harpies here! they nest atop the rocky outcropping!"   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "I wasn't aware creatures like you were intelligent enough to be capable of speech."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "That explains the many ships crashing"   Giant Crab Says: "oh, yea, that, well you see, i had been fortunate enough to have met a sea elf named Miraal, whom imbued me with the ability of speech and intelligence."   Farren the Elf Monk Says: "So like sirens." (What are the odds hahaha) (Neat)   Willie the Elf Ranger sir what is the best way to kill them   Giant Crab Says: "Oh, wait now before you come to conclusions, those 5 shipwrecks spread around the rock beneath the lighthouse, where not caused by me!"   Says: "If that is what you came looking for, then beware as There are sharks in these waters, but the one to fear is a mean old brute named Daggermaw. She'll bite your head off and take pleasure in it."   Says: “The best way?! Do you have weapons?! That should work!”   Farren the Elf Monk Says: "Noted"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "So its not a curse, its a death trap"   Farren the Elf Monk Says: "SO up the lighthouse are harpies and at the waters are sharks . . . hmmm"   Says: "Sounds like well have to work here"   Giant Crab Says: "Miraal, has departed this plane you see, however his poor soul haunts a cave nearby."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Maybe see his ghst, may help us with the sharks and harpies"   Giant Crab Says: "Say, could you help me with Miraal? If so perhaps I will help you fetch any treasure from one of the wrecks!" actually i think Miraal may be a she, we'll find out   Armanuk the Minotaur Barbarian Says: "i do not see why we could not help"   Farren Nidanas: (Everyone? Opinions?)   Farren Nidanas nods   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "Perhaps this is a blessing disguised as a crab."   Willie Belson: yes   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Yes, We will help put the ghost to rest"   Farren Nidanas: (So its 5 shipwreaks right? And helping with the crab is only getting one?)   Dungeon Master (GM): yep, looks like it!   Giant Crab Says: "Ok, good, good, thank you! Miraal, is in that outcropping just up the steps here!"   Roqar: Fight the sharks for the rest   Farren Nidanas: (Sounds good and we'll help lay a restless soul to move on)   Roqar: Head up the stairs   Dungeon Master (GM): Rough-hewn steps climb a 7-foot-high tunnel that passes all the way through a 30-foot-tall natural pillar of rock. A damp, 8-foot-high cave encrusted with lichen is connected to this tunnel.   Roqar: 14 | 16 PERCEPTION  (1) Roqar Better See anything in the cave?   Dungeon Master (GM): as you enter the cave a ghostly form, manifests itself! It is of an elf with gills, webbed hands and webbed feet. It wears spectral garments that sway as though the undead is floating underwater.
Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Miraal"   Dungeon Master (GM): ok as you call out her name I need those in the cave to roll a wisdom saving throw with a DC of 13   Roqar: 3 | 18 WISDOM SAVE  (-1) Roqar   Willie Belson: 10 | 5 WISDOM SAVE  (1) Willie Belson   Dungeon Master (GM): looks like just roqar and willie   Willie Belson: failed   Dungeon Master (GM): ha! ok you are both frightened by the sight of Miraal here!   Willie Belson: dayum   Farren Nidanas: 6 WISDOM SAVE  (4) Farren Nidanas   Dungeon Master (GM): I am going to play this one just like the one from conyberry since the module is not giving me specifics here.   Dolores: 17 | 13 WISDOM SAVE  (5) Dolores   Willie Belson: if i am frightened i strike with disadvantage?   Dungeon Master (GM): so far dolores is the only one not afraid of the banshee yes willie   Roqar: 9 WISDOM SAVE  (7) Galdor Brawnanvil   Dungeon Master (GM): It's the horrifying visage   Armanuk: 4 | 9 WISDOM SAVE  (2) Armanuk Keenhorn   Roqar: Looks like its up to Dol   Dolores has the perfect poker face   Miraal the Banshee Sea Elf Says: "Why do you come here (said to Dolores)?!"   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "Just wondering what your reason is to haunt this cave, great elf spirit"   Says: "And a giant crab just outside says hi"   Miraal the Banshee Sea Elf Says: "It is the evil that dwells here! The Anchorites of Talos come here to perform rituals and Harpies draw ships to their doom here!"   Says: “ The harpies helped the Anchorites bypass the cave thus way she could not do anything because she can’t leave the cave far from where her body once was.”   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "Then perhaps we all could get rid of them. I believe they're all up to no good in that lighthouse out there"   Miraal the Banshee Sea Elf Says: "I came here with a giant crab, to deal with Moesko the Anchorite but was killed right here in this cave!"   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "and if you would please stop scaring my poor buddies here"   Says: "And... you would like your spirit to move on? Is that what you're saying"   Miraal the Banshee Sea Elf Says: "Oh, that can not be helped! Though they may calm down in a minute, if lucky."   Says: "Yes, I will not leave this cursed place until I see that justice is done and evil no longer lurks here!"   Dungeon Master (GM): those that failed can give me another wisdom save to snap out of the fright it's been at least a minute   Armanuk: 13 | 4 WISDOM SAVE  (2) Armanuk Keenhorn   Roqar: 0 | 19 WISDOM SAVE  (-1) Roqar   Farren Nidanas: 5 WISDOM SAVE  (4) Farren Nidanas (damn roll20, you savage)   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, well Armanuk, snapped out of the fright now   Willie Belson: 6 | 3 WISDOM SAVE  (1) Willie Belson failed   Dungeon Master (GM): yea just Armanuk   Roqar: 23 WISDOM SAVE  (7) Galdor Brawnanvil   Dungeon Master (GM): and galdor
